The Cable Assembler position entails wiring component installation and hand soldering, disassembling, modifying, reworking or reassembling units using various hand and pneumatic tools. As well as performing mechanical assembly, cable assembly, component forming and mounting of assemblies.
Skill Requirements
- Soldering Experience required
- Certification to J-STD-001 standard and IPC-620
- Knowledge of techniques, approaches, guidelines, policies and procedures in the job area.
- Must be able to perform assembly techniques in order to make modifications, reworks and assemblies.
Qualifications:

- Basic drawings and schematics for cable assemblies.

The Refrigeration Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems and components. This role involves working from engineering drawings, verbal and written instructions to perform mechanical and electromechanical assemblies. The Technician will also conduct functional performance tests, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering and senior technicians to improve processes and functionality. A working knowledge of refrigeration systems, including components, refrigerants, and brazing techniques, is essential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assemble mechanical and electromechanical refrigeration systems based on engineering drawings, written procedures, and verbal instructions.
- Conduct documented tests on subassemblies to assess performance and validate functionality against specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair subassemblies as directed.
- Test the functional performance of systems, subassemblies, and parts under specified conditions (e.g., cold temperatures).
- Work with senior technicians and engineering to propose and implement process and functional improvements.
- Handle refrigerants, including brazing, charging, and reclaiming, in accordance with industry standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation and records of work performed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, refrigerants, and brazing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and refrigeration schematics.
- Basic troubleshooting skills with a resourceful and self-motivated approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using PCs and familiarity with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective time management and task prioritization to meet schedule commitments.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate in a team environment.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a vocational school program or an approved technical training program in HVAC or refrigeration installation, repair, and maintenance (Journeyman certification is a plus).
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in refrigeration or a related field.

- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- 18 years or older
Preferred qualifications:
- At least high school diploma or equivalent or higher
- 3+ years of experience in the cleaning & maintenance services industry

Responsibilities The Keller Co-Op program is focused on training and developing entry level students interested in the construction industry.
We currently are offering both engineering and construction management positions.
We look to retain Co-Op students for multiple semesters as they grow and develop the necessary skills to succeed in the Geotechnical market with the goal to transition Co-Op students into full time employment.
New employees will spend time in the field to get a firsthand understanding and experience in the types of services and construction Keller provides.
Co-Ops will then transition into an office roll designed to develop engineering, estimating and sales skills.
We offer two different types of Co-Op’s listed below: Field Co-Op – Daily tracking/production reporting, quality control, cost analysis, equipment and field experience.
Office Co-Op – Estimating assistance, project take-offs, creating proposals, sales and engineering.
