Application Developer

Work Location: Ramsey, NJ

Summary:

Seeking a Web Developer to design, build, test, and maintain software applications that support business operations and user needs. The role ensures the quality, performance, and ongoing effectiveness of applications, translating functional requirements into reliable code and updating systems to improve performance or add new features.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework and Microsoft Visual Studio, ensuring alignment with user and business requirements.
• Translate functional needs into working code, update applications for improved performance, and add new features as needed.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including operating manuals and sales information, and provide follow-up training when required.
• Independently develop, test, and implement new automation-specific technical solutions, and maintain existing product baseline software.
• Provide technical guidance and support to staff and customers, including troubleshooting and resolving complex automation issues.
• Lead or participate in project teams to deliver control system application code, execute software test protocols, and provide commissioning and validation support.
• Stay current with emerging industry standards and technologies, making recommendations to enhance automation systems and reduce costs.
• Travel up to 15% to customer sites for onsite service, system commissioning, and support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in software development or automation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, reporting tools, and database software/hardware platforms; familiarity with platforms such as Rockwell, AVEVA, Microsoft SQL, PC, and thin client preferred.
• Programming experience using the .NET framework and Microsoft Visual Studio; experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of integrated automation, information systems, and network design for industrial process control, especially in regulated industries.
• Experience with Linux operating system configuration and command line instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS system configuration and administration.
• Ability to independently develop, test, and roll out new technical solutions and maintain existing software products.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to provide technical support and guidance.

Background

The Innovation Planner will act as the project manager and supply chain lead in processes that are executed in close cooperation with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Finance, Category Management and other Supply Chain Functional teams.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the innovation project plans from Pre-Start/Kick-off, through to implementation and post launch evaluation. This is achieved through helping to scope the project, defining activities and timings required to ensure capability is in place, and then following up on these timings throughout the project
• Manage the overall project networks, via MS project, coordinate inputs from all functions and hold individuals accountable for the delivery of their activities to ensure the project remains on time
• Ensure that the Supply Chain has the necessary capacities and capabilities to produce the innovations for all assigned sourcing sites
• Manage communication with all key project stakeholders and with global and regional innovation planners
• Coordinate required inputs to the business case for the innovation projects in terms of capital expenditure and SCC drivers, working closely with the global Procurement, Finance, Planning and Engineering teams
• Own and maintain the overall project networks for new variants and new hardware projects, as required to ensure “on time in full” delivery; by working closely with R&D, Marketing, Finance, Procurement, T&E, Quality and factories
• Co-lead risk assessments, and make sure action plans are embedded in the project timeline
• Support complexity reduction activities and sourcing analysis for the innovation projects, by working closely with Strategic Planning and Finance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, Supply chain, R&D, Engineering preferred)
• 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain (Project Management, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering or Logistics) or in R&D with experience on new product development
• Project management skills (working knowledge of MS Project, MS Office)
• Basic appreciation level of how manufacturing works
• Strong leadership and business partnering skills with the ability to influence decisions

The Fleet Manager is responsible for the coordination, maintenance, and compliance of vehicles and equipment across assigned family companies. This role oversees both in-house and outsourced maintenance operations, provides leadership and direction to in-house mechanics, assists family companies in preparing and managing budgets for fleet-related accounts, manages telematics and driver compliance programs, and ensures adherence to company safety standards and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, technical, and leadership skills, with a focus on operational efficiency, cost control, and safety excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle & Equipment Management

• Schedule and manage in-house mechanics for vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Oversee outsourced mechanic scheduling and management.
• Coordinate transportation of vehicles and equipment to repair facilities.
• Schedule heavy equipment lubrication and preventive maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
• Manage small engine preventive maintenance and repair services.
• Assist with vehicle and equipment capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgeting and decommissioning.
• Manage vehicle registrations, IRP, and tax documentation through Holman Insights or internal systems.

Leadership & Team Management

• Supervise, train, and develop in-house mechanics and service personnel.
• Ensure shop operations meet company standards for quality, safety, and productivity.
• Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Budgeting & Financial Management

• Assist family companies in preparing annual budgets for fleet-related accounts, including repair and maintenance expenses, fleet related labor, fuel, and shop expenses.
• Monitor actual expenses against budget to ensure cost control and financial alignment.
• Provide insight and recommendations to improve cost efficiency and support capital planning for vehicle replacements.

Telematics & Driver Compliance

• Deliver Geotab training locally for drivers and fleet staff.
• Install and maintain Geotab GPS devices.
• Oversee CDL pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance.
• Monitor driver performance and vehicle utilization through telematics reporting.

Safety & Accident Management

• Investigate vehicle accidents and incidents.
• Provide safety training and manage corrective action follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Support root cause analysis and implement preventative measures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fleet or equipment management.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance scheduling, diagnostics, and compliance programs.
• Familiarity with Geotab or similar telematics systems.
• CDL license or strong understanding of CDL compliance requirements preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.

Minimum Requirements

* BS in engineering discipline, mechanical preferred.

* Experience in medical equipment / device design with experience in electromechanical, electro- pneumatic, and/or blood pumping equipment development.

* Knowledge in medical device industry regulations and practices - ISO 13485, ISO 7198 & GMP.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, MS Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat.

* Experience with Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Project preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Design for Manufacturability and Assembly, DFM&A (cost/tooling/process considerations), preferably using SolidWorks CAD software.

* Understanding in design and development of injection molded plastic, plastic extrusion, casting, sheet metal, metal stampings, additive manufacturing processes, and machined metal components, and assemblies with high part counts highly desirable.

* Knowledge of mechanical design and development using metric ANSI/ISO dimensioning and drafting standards highly desirable.

* Understanding of GD&T, mechanical measurement and testing equip., and statistical analysis of test data.

* Experience with electronic document control systems in medical device and/or medical equipment design and development.

* Highly skilled at analytical reasoning, mechanism design, creative problem solving, and mathematical analysis.

* Ability to create and meet scheduled timelines (manage and coordinate tasks as required).

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* Strong communication skills.

* Competent in use of Microsoft Office tools.

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.

Location Details: Remote, United States

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.

What you'll get to do...

Define the Enterprise Integration & Partner Platform Strategy

• Lead the strategy and roadmap for GoDaddy Commerce's headless commerce APIs and partner SDKs that enable external software platforms to embed payments and commerce workflows.
• Develop a clear vision for who integrates with us, why, and how — prioritizing integrations that deliver high merchant and partner value aligned to our platform core competencies.
• Build and maintain a deep understanding of partner evaluation criteria, technical architecture, and enterprise buyer needs — positioning GoDaddy Commerce competitively alongside platforms like Stripe, Adyen, and Finix.

Champion Enterprise & ISV Partner Workflows

• Serve as the voice of enterprise software partners — from technical architects to product leaders — ensuring our APIs, documentation, and certification processes reflect the needs of real integration teams. 
• Map and optimize end-to-end partner workflows: onboarding → certification → go-live → reporting → revenue share → compliance.
• Translate integration complexity (devices, stores, payment endpoints, invoicing, virtual terminals, headless POS) into scalable, configurable platform solutions.

Drive Payments & Commerce Platform Capabilities

• Partner with engineering to define APIs and services for payments, orders, catalog, inventory, customers, and sales channels that support both embedded and in-person commerce.
• Build support for advanced enterprise requirements including: 
  • Multi-entity and multi-location configuration
  • Reporting and commissions APIs
  • Activity and transaction tracking
  • Risk and fraud scoring hooks
  • Customer authentication and tokenization flows
  • Reseller administrator portal
• Collaborate with Payments, Risk, and FinOps teams to ensure accurate settlement, reporting, and reconciliation across embedded payment flows.

Influence and Collaborate with Enterprise Clients

• Meet directly with enterprise partners and resellers to understand their technical and business integration needs, gather feedback, and guide co-development pilots and close sales.
• Partner with Business Development and Solutions Engineering to support partner evaluation cycles, ensuring APIs, sandbox tools, and documentation demonstrate enterprise-grade capability and reliability.
• Translate client conversations into actionable platform requirements, balancing enterprise flexibility with platform scalability.

Deliver Hypothesis-Driven Product Discovery

• Use experimentation and partner pilots to validate API features and developer experiences before scaling.
• Measure what matters: partner integration velocity, merchant attach and retention, API usage, revenue contribution, and partner NPS.
• Continuously iterate roadmap priorities based on adoption, partner satisfaction, and ecosystem performance.

Scale and Evangelize the Partner Platform

• Collaborate with GTM and Solution Engineering to create integration blueprints, API playbooks, and sandbox environments that reduce time-to-value for new partners.
• Define certification standards and reference architectures for recurring vertical use cases.
• Share insights and findings across GoDaddy Commerce to shape our long-term platform strategy for embedded commerce and payments.

Your experience should include...

• 8+ years of product management experience in platform, API, or payments products, with deep knowledge of payments architecture and commerce primitives.
• 2+ years of ISO 8583 financial messaging experience.
• Proven success embedding payments/commerce into enterprise ISV and middleware platforms with measurable adoption outcomes.
• Expert in headless and API-first product development, including API design tradeoffs, SDK usability, and developer enablement.
• Strong client-facing skills leading discovery, solution reviews, and executive briefings with enterprise partners.
• Track record of cross-functional influence across engineering, business development, operations, and compliance teams.

You might also have...

• Experience with platforms such as Stripe Connect, Adyen for Platforms, Finix, Square Developer Platform, or Shopify's Partner APIs.
