Maintain 6S requirements in work area.

Understand G and M codes/Mazatrol

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large ground-up commercial construction projects in the Grand Junction area. This role will manage projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Projects may include office, industrial, institutional, retail, and other large-scale commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
• Lead subcontractor buyout and contract negotiations
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
• Develop and maintain project schedules alongside the Superintendent
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, and consultants
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget
• Lead internal and external project meetings and maintain strong communication across teams
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager with a commercial General Contractor
• Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects
• Experience delivering large projects ($30M+ preferred)
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and building systems
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or similar construction management software
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
