Summary
The Construction Engineer supports field engineering activities for large infrastructure projects, providing technical expertise in planning, execution, and problem-solving during construction. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Construction, or related) is required.
- Provide field engineering support to construction teams, including interpreting drawings, specifications, and design requirements.
- Support installation planning, sequencing, and work package development for infrastructure construction activities.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction supervision, subcontractors, and field teams to resolve technical issues.
- Assist with quantity tracking, progress measurement, and reporting for assigned scopes of work.
- Develop and review construction procedures, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Verify field installation aligns with engineering documents, quality requirements, and applicable codes.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructability input.
- Support troubleshooting, field changes, and requests for information.

Interlake Mecalux is hiring an Industrial Sales Representative to join our sales team, working remotely in San Antonio, TX. The Industrial Sales Representative is responsible for the sale of racking and storage solutions within Texas, with most business being in San Antonio, TX.
Major responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage relationships by continuously updating and training racking or material handling dealers, distributors, systems integrators, and end-users on our racking products and applications.
- Visit dealers, distributors, and end users in territory in order to strengthen existing relationships, follow up on leads and quotes, and close business.
- Conduct sales presentations, complete sales calls, manage sales order negotiations, and oversee the execution of sales orders
- Partner with internal technical resources to create quotes for customers.
- Partner with customers to develop long term relationships, generate additional sales, and guide problem resolution discussions.
- Develop monthly and weekly sales plans that include prospecting activities and forecasts.
- Ensure completion of customer projects through the coordination of engineering, manufacturing, installation, and customer service activities.
- Update daily the lead, quote, and order activity in company's CRM software, CIM. Keep CIM updated daily.
The qualified candidate possesses at least the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering is preferred.
- At least one year of experience working in the Material Handling Industry.
- At least one year of experience in Industrial Sales.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Must live within one hour (driving) of San Antonio, TX.
- Must have an excellent driving record and own a car with auto liability coverage limits of $100,000 per person, $300,000 per accident in bodily injury liability, and $100,000 per accident in property damage liability.
- Willingness for business travel in Texas visiting customers 2-4 days per week.
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
