The ideal candidate has a solid foundational understanding of planning and design relating to municipal & site development civil infrastructure such as wastewater collection, water distribution, stormwater plans, specifications and estimates.

Additionally, experience producing civic and institutional (public facility) development plans.

The ideal candidate will also have a desire to and experience in developing and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting our team’s experience, and finding and securing project contracts with clients.

While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will: Provide engineering design and project management services for municipal engineering including sewer, water, storm water, and other municipal services within Washoe County and the surrounding region.

Provide engineering design and project management services for Civic, institutional, and other public facility developments (Site, Grading, Utility plans, specifications, estimates and construction administration) within Washoe County and the surrounding region.

Develop relationships with and secure project work and service contracts with clients.

Manage clients and client projects while providing responsive communications, professional services, and delivering quality projects to multiple clients.

Participate in all phases of project development, design, and construction.

Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.

Collaborate with other engineers, planners, and public agencies on projects.

Collaborate with engineers and planners for reports, design, and construction phase services for various private and public agency projects.

Coordination and support of projects on multi-disciplinary projects throughout the company.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering.

Certification as Professional Engineer (P.E.).

6-10 years of qualified experience.

General Civil, Municipal & Development engineering background.

Excellent communication and writing skills.

Willingness to build a practice and mentor junior staff.

Proven technical background and skillset.

Your role at Clorox:

The Plant Engineer provides day-to-day engineering technical expertise to Operating Departments as needed. Leads the design and implementation of site-based capital and manufacturing improvement projects.

Participates in teams as an expert in the discipline and can work with guiding management oversight. Evaluates the feasibility of manufacturing, packaging, and process systems improvements and modifications. Manages and directs the work of outside engineering consultants and construction contractors during the design and implementation of projects.

In this role, you will:

• Lead site-based capital projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, timing, and budget goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across packaging, processing, and utility systems.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams to resolve technical challenges, optimize performance, and support cost savings initiatives.
• Manage external engineering consultants and contractors during project execution.
• Demonstrate active engagement in enhancing the site's safety performance and food safety compliance by supporting and promoting relevant programs and initiatives. Support environmental sustainability goal achievement.
• Identify, support and lead cost savings initiatives across the site and help to reduce plant spending.
• Develop personal skills and train teams (Engineering, Maintenance, and Operational) on new techniques, etc. Advocate for engineering innovation at the manufacturing site.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Clorox Project Management protocols.

What we look for:

• 4 - 7 years of Engineering experience
• Engineering Degree (BSME / BSEE / BSChE) or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. You must possess a valid driver’s license and passport or be willing to obtain one

CTS is seeking is seeking a CWI/ICC Structural Steel & Bolting Inspector to perform inspections for the shop/field. To include the following: audits, inspecting structural steel fabrication and erection, material identification, welding to include joint fit-up, in-process welding, completed welding, and high-strength bolting inspections.

Local candidates to Las Vegas only. This will be working on a stadium project.

General Responsibilities:

• Perform observation and inspection in the shop & field.
