The compensation range for this role is $34.15 - $39.84 per hour.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to: minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, and location.

- Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures and varied drilling and riveting operations; ensures parts/assembly meet requirements .
- Use complicated schematics/blueprints, engineering drawings and technical instructions to safely perform layout, fabrication, and installation of parts, equipment or fabricated items on aircraft. Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA paperwork, sign-offs and quality specifications .
- Ability to move to new tasks with minimal, short-term impact to established goal hours and schedule .
- Rivet structural assemblies and parts using all tools required. to do the job (e.g. portable riveting guns, pneumatic drills, counter sinks, rivet shavers, files, reamers, rivets). Must display the ability to remove fasteners without damaging structures .
- Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, sketches, and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations, type size for rivets, hole pattern for rivets, cutand form plastics and follow standard operating procedures when using adhesives, sealants and solvents .
- Check all work and ensure a defect free assembly prior to final inspection .
- Mentor, train, and assist other team members in interpretation of blueprints, drawings, and engineering orders; develop methods and shop aids to resolve production installation difficulties and problems .
- Maintain and use all logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs) .
- Align and assembles parts to be riveted using jigs, holding fixtures, pins, clamps, and fasteners .
- Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
- Plan and organize workloads and resource requirements to meet or exceed goal hours and schedule expectations. Assist in overseeing projects or other technicians and assesses requirements of assigned tasks to procure required. materials and documentation for assigned tasks .
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S, Lean Initiative Program, and complies with all safety regulations .
- Support Lean Activities, comply with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies.
- Good working knowledge of computers and related software.
- Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
- Must be skilled in close tolerance work and have knowledge of use of special tools and equipment. Should be able to use all tools required. to do the job.
- Must be able to use mathematical formulas by solving dimensional problems using fractions, decimal fractions and whole numbers.
- Thorough knowledge in the use of multiple measuring devices, demonstrated ability to use within specified tolerance.
- Must be able to work any shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders, stands, stairs and work in small spaces and/or restricted areas.

PPE required throughout shop area, including safety steel toe shoes and eye protection.

The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist is responsible for ensuring full regulatory compliance across environmental, health, and safety functions, with a strong emphasis on environmental permitting, reporting, and audit readiness.
This role serves as the site subject matter expert on OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance, partnering with operations and leadership to proactively mitigate risk, maintain audit readiness, and strengthen environmental stewardship initiatives. The EHS Specialist will drive continuous improvement while ensuring the facility remains inspection-ready at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory & Environmental Compliance (Primary Focus)
Own and maintain compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations (EPA, state agencies, OSHA, etc.).
Manage all environmental permits (air, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste) ensuring timely renewals, reporting, and adherence to permit conditions.
Serve as site lead during regulatory inspections and third-party environmental audits.
Prepare and submit required environmental reports (Tier II, TRI, stormwater, hazardous waste manifests, emissions reporting, etc.).
Oversee hazardous waste management program, including proper storage, labeling, disposal, manifesting, and training.
Implement and maintain stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), including inspections, sampling, and corrective actions.
Lead internal compliance audits and gap assessments; drive corrective and preventive actions to closure.
Maintain accurate and inspection-ready documentation and compliance records.
Support ESG and sustainability reporting initiatives (CDP, EcoVadis, internal corporate reporting).
Identify environmental risk exposure and implement mitigation strategies to reduce regulatory and financial liability.
Safety & Health Compliance
Maintain and administer OSHA-required programs (LOTO, Hazard Communication, PPE, Emergency Action Plans, etc.).
Develop, implement, and audit EHS policies, SOPs, and training programs.
Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), facility risk assessments, and safety inspections.
Lead incident investigations using root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Track safety metrics (TRIR, DART, near misses) and present findings to leadership.
Ensure compliance with cGMP requirements and FDA-regulated standards where applicable.
Lead and maintain Emergency Response Team readiness and training.
Workers’ Compensation & Risk Management
Investigate workplace injuries and ensure regulatory-compliant reporting.
Manage workers’ compensation claims and partner with insurance carriers and medical providers.
Coordinate return-to-work and modified duty programs.
Track claims trends and support site-level risk reduction strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or FDA-regulated environment.
Demonstrated experience managing environmental permits and regulatory reporting.
Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, stormwater, hazardous waste, and air quality regulations.
Experience leading regulatory inspections and responding to findings.
Proven ability to conduct compliance audits and drive corrective action closure.
Experience with ESG reporting platforms (CDP, EcoVadis) strongly preferred.
Professional certifications (e.g., CHMM, CSP, CIH) are a plus.
Strong analytical, documentation, and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities Support the Quality Manager in implementing, maintaining, and improving the AS9100/ISO 9001 quality management system.
Conduct first-article inspections (FAI) and support source-inspector interactions (customer, DCMA, DoD).
Develop, update, and maintain inspection plans, work instructions, control plans, and quality documentation.
Perform root-cause analysis and lead or assist in corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Analyze production data and quality trends to identify defects, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Support internal and external audits, preparing documentation and participating in audit activities.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and met.
Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance product conformity and reduce scrap/rework.
Work hands-on with inspectors on the floor to resolve issues, validate measurements, and ensure proper use of inspection tools.
Prepare clear, detailed technical reports and documentation for internal and customer use.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing quality engineering.
Strong understanding of AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems.
Familiarity with DCMA/DoD requirements, FAI processes, and aerospace documentation standards.
Hands-on mindset and ability to work closely with inspectors, technicians, and production staff.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to lead and support RCA and CAPA activities.
Excellent technical writing and documentation abilities.
Experience with composites, sheet metal, or formed acrylic materials is highly preferred.
Proficiency with common inspection tools and measurement techniques.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace first-article inspection software (e.g., Net-Inspect).
Training or certification in AS9100 internal auditing, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
Prior experience supporting customer or government source inspections.
