Jabil is hiring a Machine Maintenance Technician to work in its Auburn Hills, MI location. This position is for Monday-Friday 2:30pm-10:30pm (shift differential offered).

How will you make an impact? The Machine Maintenance Technician will be a Subject Matter Expert on all production equipment and will coordinate all activities pertaining to equipment on an assigned work cell. They will also perform maintenance and repairs on production equipment, while also monitoring the daily measurables and correcting issues.

What will you do?

  • Performs basic and complex production equipment maintenance, repair, and scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Troubleshoots specific machine-related and process-related issues and resolves them.
  • Creates, edits, debugs, and optimizes machine programs.
  • Works with internal and external customers and equipment vendors to improve process-related issues.
  • Coordinates with other team members, as well as equipment vendors to address issues.
  • Works safely at all times and complies with Environmental Health and Safety standards and work practices along with all other work rules.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Summary

The Janitorial Manager is responsible for the supervision, inspection, and control of all custodial and related services associated within assigned contract. Senior / Master Electrician

Based onsite at Rocket Lab in Long Beach, California, the Electrician is responsible for electrical maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and electrical improvement projects at Rocket Lab's headquarters and Engine Development Center.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Serve as the primary electrical subject matter expert for HQ and the Engine Development Center.
  • Plan, scope, and execute electrical infrastructure projects including power distribution, panel upgrades, machine installs, lighting systems, and equipment tie-ins.
  • Coordinate directly with internal customers (Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Production, IT) to define electrical requirements, project timelines, shutdown windows, and commissioning plans.
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and upgrade of building electrical systems (120V480V, 3-phase systems).
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and construction drawings.
  • Install and modify conduit systems; proficiently bend conduit from " to 1 " using manual tube benders (EMT preferred; rigid and flexible conduit experience a plus).
  • Size conductors, breakers, transformers, and distribution equipment in accordance with NEC and local code.
  • Support equipment installations including procurement, layout planning, power drops, disconnects, and final energization.
  • Manage electrical work orders through JIRA and prioritize based on production impact and safety risk.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC, OSHA, and local building code requirements.
  • Provide oversight of contractors performing electrical work and verify work meets Rocket Lab standards.
  • Assist with broader facilities maintenance tasks as required, including HVAC support, plumbing repairs, painting, minor construction, furniture relocation, and other general facilities maintenance activities to support site operations.

You'll Bring These Qualifications As A Senior Electrician:

  • 8+ years of electrical maintenance experience in any of the following industries: aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a heavily regulated manufacturing facility.
  • High School Diploma, GED OR 12+ years of experience in electrical maintenance in lieu of diploma.
  • Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects.

You'll Bring These Qualifications As A Master Electrician:

  • 10+ years of electrical maintenance experience in any of the following industries: aerospace, automotive, medical device, or a heavily regulated manufacturing facility.
  • High School Diploma, GED OR 14+ years of experience in electrical maintenance in lieu of diploma.
  • Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Licensed electrician or certified electrical professional is highly preferred.
  • Experience with managing a cleanroom.
  • Capable of solving complex problems with little to no supervision in a timely manner.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to remain focused while working in hazardous environments, while wearing appropriate PPE
  • Standing for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this position
