Machinists ensure the continued operation of equipment by performing preventive maintenance and/ or breakdown repairs on machinery, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems. These tasks are completed following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, engineering specifications, journeyman troubleshooting protocols, and following procedures. Locates source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments, and utilization of equipment history failure knowledge.
What will be expected from you?
- Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using maintenance tools hoists, cranes, hand and power tools, ladders, lifts, etc. Examines form and texture of parts to changes in the dimensional requirements of parts, inspecting and using measurement devices such as rulers, calipers, micrometers, and others. Replaces parts or rebuilds systems as necessary to maintain cost effectiveness of equipment and prevent mechanical failure.
- Maintains mechanical knowledge by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
- Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory levels, and anticipating parts and equipment needs and communicating these needs.
- Team to identify process problem areas and learning how to communicate them up and through the organization using appropriate means of communication.
- Gain hands on experience using and implementing SAP records for tracking and managing maintenance daily activities.
- Participate in job hand-offs to fellow associates and conduct key operator communications to help properly diagnose malfunctions and to communicate progress of repairs.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, and completed all site required computer-based training. Participates in audits, investigations, HAZOPs, PHA's and quality efforts in the areas as needed.
- Maintains good housekeeping of equipment, parts storage, and shop work areas.
- Controls downtime by alerting production employees of routine preventive maintenance techniques, how to avoid equipment stresses via operational adjustments.
- Ensure that the activities are carried out to comply with the integrated management system, as applicable (safety, food safety, GMP, health, environmental, quality and responsible care requirements).
- Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed. If applicable, ability to work overtime may be needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives.

What are we looking for in the Ideal Candidate?
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working with rotating equipment and related machinery as a journeyman machinist/millwright required, education or apprenticeship may possibly be substituted for some years of experience.
- Machine shop equipment experience including manual lathe, balance machine, milling machine, drill press, and surface grinders.
- Possession of a Millwright, Industrial Millwright or Machinist NCCER certificate or comparable technical certificate is a plus. NOTE: Having any of these certificates can count towards some years of experience.
- Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
- Must have a level of proficiency with SAP, Internet, Email and Microsoft Office programs.

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to develop job plans for Maintenance Work Orders, so the work can be scheduled and executed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner per the steps listed in the job plan.
What will be expected from you?
- Reviews work orders for completeness / all required information (based on a good quality work order) and returns work orders to Operations Maintenance Coordinator if not complete. Escalates issues to the Maintenance Work Process Lead for chronic issues.
- Uses archived plans (Task List) where possible for the basis of creating new plans.
- Where provided, uses guides for Value Added Job Plans and guidance for estimating labor requirements. Goal is to eliminate non-value-added planning activities and ensure that job plans are not fat.
- Uses “quality feedback” from the person who completed the work to optimize archived plans. Seeks approval from the Planning Lead before changing numbers of crafts and job duration.
- Provides feedback to the person who supplied the Planner Feedback Form on how the information was used (updates, communication, etc.). This includes decisions not to make changes.
- Carries out field check when needed to verify job plan.
- Prepares job plan and inputs plan into SAP indicating the required resources, materials, and services.
- Prepares the job package for the Work Coordinator and Crafts to use to ensure a safe, quality, productive job execution.
- Works with the Material Coordinator after material availability has been confirmed to update the Material code in SAP to RSCD identifying job is ready to schedule.

How will you make an impact?
The Lead Electrical CAD Designer will be responsible for creating detailed model designs, modifying existing designs, and working collaboratively with engineers and other team members to meet product specifications. Jabil is seeking a Manufacturing Test Development Manager who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Intelligent Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems within a large-scale software production environment. You and your team will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development and production deployment of production software applications and infrastructure spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions. You will also be responsible for interfacing with internal engineering, manufacturing and quality teams and our end customers to ensure your software deliverables meet the rigorous standards of Jabil’s world-class manufacturing environments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the complete software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Agile, CICD, and SLDC process implementation and application experience.
- Knowledge/Expertise in the following programming/scripting languages: Python, BASH, Java experience a plus.

How will you make an impact?
We are seeking a highly skilled, technically proficient and detail-oriented Principal Mechanical Engineer with expertise in metal structures, frame design, pipes and fabrication to support the development of power and cooling infrastructure for data centers. This role is critical in designing robust mechanical systems that house and support electrical and thermal management equipment, ensuring structural integrity, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards.
What will you do?
- Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics, pressure drop calculations, and pipe sizing for chilled water and glycol-based systems.
- Understanding of installation constraints, maintenance access, and serviceability in large-scale mechanical infrastructure.
- Design and develop mechanical frames, enclosures, and support structures for data center power and cooling products (UPS systems, battery racks, CRAC units, containment systems, LVS, MVS).
- Perform advanced structural analysis using FEA tools to validate mechanical integrity under static, dynamic, seismic, and thermal loads.
- Analyze load paths, stress concentrations, and fatigue life of structural components to ensure long-term reliability.
- Design metal enclosures with considerations for airflow, thermal containment, EMI shielding, and environmental protection.
- Evaluate and implement new materials, coatings, and fabrication technologies to enhance product performance and reliability.
- Participate in customer engagements and site visits to understand deployment constraints and gather feedback for design improvements.
- Create detailed CAD models and fabrication drawings, including weldments, sheet metal, and machined parts
- Select appropriate materials and fabrication methods to optimize cost, performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with electrical, thermal, and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs with functional components.
- Lead mechanical design reviews and contribute to cross-functional design validation efforts.
- Develop and maintain design documentation including BOMs, specifications, test plans, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Drive continuous improvement in mechanical design for manufacturability (DFM), cost reduction, and performance optimization.
- Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve fabrication issues and ensure quality standards are met.
- Support lifecycle management of mechanical components, including obsolescence planning and alternate sourcing.
- Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures or field issues.
