Position Overview

This “Apartment Search Consultant” (or “ASC” for short) is in a hyper personalized role where they are meeting a person looking for a new apartment, learning their unique preferences, providing options to them from the many apartments that this company has relationships with, conducting on-site visits with them at these apartment/town house complexes, and helping them through the point of selection/application to the apartment (then getting paid a big commission!).
Breaking the role down further:
50% of the role is People Interaction:
· Getting to know the person on an introductory call on the phone.
· Conducting an in-person consultation with them at the office to get a real look into their wants and needs.
· Go Live in person with them to see their top 3 options.
· Meet back at the office to go through the Application process of the Apartment of their choice.
50% of this role - “Marketing” (NOT Sales)
· This Apartment Search Consultant is NOT talking a person into an apartment – you and them ALREADY KNOW they need one; they receive this service for free and you get commissions paid by the Apartment/Town House complexes.
· Candidates looking for apartments get channeled into the ASC via these 3 sources:
o Referrals (their #1 source) that come in from realtors, other apartment communities, schools, employers, past clients, friends, etc.
o SEO (Search Engine Optimization) by the company – people often “Google” how to find an apartment in Nashville – it can only take them so far. This company pays a lot for SEO, so people go to their site, see that it is free for them, and reach out to get connected on their own!
o On-Line Ads: This ASC will be taught how and where to post Ads for the apartment/town house complexes this company works with. Applicants will come in and this ASC will call to set up an appointment.

Other details about this opportunity:
· This is a full-time, 40 hour per week
· 100% Commission Based and a 1099 role (not a W-2)
· In-Office role (predominantly) with flexibility (some days in office 1-2 hours only)
· Work Attire – Business Casual
· You must be able to acquire your Real Estate License
· Must have a car/reliable transportation, some type of computer to access internet (most use a Chromebook), and a smart phone with picture taking capabilities (all will be used daily)
