Sterling Search Partners is helping a Birmingham engineering firm with its search for a Project Coordinator. This position is in office 5 days a week and will require some daily travel to clients office.

• Leads development of processes and procedures to improve efficiencies. Interacts with HR, IT, Operations, Accounting and Safety to develop new platforms and operational improvements.
• Tracks and drives local performance metrics and project management using software and other tools that may be developed.
• Organize, update and maintain required documentation per format standards including post implementation clean-up work.
• Accountable for project reporting to ensure all information is collected and organized in a consistent manner while providing accurate and up to date view of the project status.

Responsibilities

Prepares engineering analysis, design, calculations, and reports for a portion or all of a project for review by a Project Manager.

Designs grading and drainage for site improvements.

Designs utility piping systems, involving sanitary, water main, fire protection, and storm drainage.

Performs hydrology and hydraulic calculations for gravity and pressure piping systems and above ground conveyances.

Works with dynamic design teams including landscape architects, land use planners, attorneys, owners, and facility managers.

Prepares project drawings, calculations, and specifications.

Assists in the preparation of proposals and fee estimates for potential projects of limited scope and complexity.

Performs construction assistance related tasks including responding to RFI (Request for Information), visiting job sites, reviewing submittals, and coordinating with design team for revisions.

Develops and presents project-specific or technical presentations to clients, technical organizations, and in-house staff.

Mentors staff engineers.

Prepares plan reviews, permit applications, analyzes zoning ordinances, and evaluates land use.

Attends and participates in public meetings related to projects such as planning, commission and city council meetings.

Stays current on legal and industry regulations.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Formal Education, Licenses and Certifications

Bachelor’s Civil Engineering or equivalent

Knowledge and Experience

Minimum 3 years of engineering experience showing progressively increasing responsibility.

In-depth experience using AutoCAD for land development applications, Civil 3D preferred but not required. Working knowledge of typical computer software programs used for civil engineering design and management (Microsoft Office, etc.)

• Diagnoses fuel system and component malfunctions. Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques.

• Removes access panels, and depuddles, purges, repairs, and tests fuel tanks and cells.
• Performs entry and maintenance in confined spaces.

• Perform regular Foreign Object Damage (FOD) walks.
• Maintain strict tool control procedures. Report missing, lost, found, or unattended tools to the supervisor. Inventory and inspect tools on a regular basis and replace worn or broken tools.
• Comply with safety rules and regulations while performing day to day maintenance. Promptly report all accidents, injuries, safety violations, and/or unsafe practices or procedures to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment records. Enter in the maintenance records description of the work performed and verify the work was performed satisfactorily.
• May include Designated System Inspector (DSI) duties.
• The Aircraft Fuel System Technician will be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

The Role We Want You For

Travel on an as-needed basis to support HVAC/mechanical equipment receiving, inspection, documentation, and storage verification across active jobsites, warehouses, vendor locations, and occasional factories. Lead on-the-ground support for damage, shortage, freight, and warranty claims through accurate photo logs and timely coordination with field teams, suppliers, carriers, and manufacturers. The Specifics of the Role

• Travel on short notice to verify deliveries vs. BOLs/packing slips, POs, and approved submittals; document shortages, damage, and discrepancies.
• Capture clear photo logs (crate condition, tags/serials, model numbers, accessories, storage conditions) and issue concise condition reports.
• Confirm proper storage/protection/handling (weather protection, ventilation, security, rigging points, laydown practices) and coordinate corrections.
• Support damage/shortage investigations and freight/warranty claims: compile evidence, timelines, and required documentation; coordinate RMAs, parts, and service as needed.

Requirements

Location Details: United States - Remote

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

• Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
• Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
• Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
• Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
• Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
• Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

• 7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
• Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
• Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
• Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
• Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
• Experience in hardware security.
