Department Information
The Wellness Empowerment Center provides upstream, innovative, and relevant programs, services and initiatives to help students and employees thrive. The team creatively designs prevention and education efforts to promote, nurture, and enrich the Georgia Tech community of health, well-being, and caring. Services include health and well-being educational programs, events and workshops, nutrition counseling, and sexual violence prevention, education and response.



Job Summary

The Dietitian role will develop and implement nutrition programs and services for the Institute community. Provides one-on-one consultation services to students related to general nutrition, eating disorders, and body image. Develops, implements, and assesses nutrition, body image, and eating disorder programming including large events, presentation requests, and outreach initiatives. Involves providing medical nutrition therapy and nutrition education and advocacy for the campus community, patients, and student groups, participating in menu planning and in program marketing and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Provide nutrition counseling (primary and preventative interventions) and follow up care to students through self-referral or medical referral. Provide medical nutrition therapy as required based on treatment plan. Includes assessment, treatment, evaluation, and nutrition education. Must follow HIPAA and FERPA guidelines throughout the entire nutrition counseling process.

Job Duty 2 -
Must provide inclusive services to students that are focused on a health-at-every size approach, Intuitive Eating, and non-diet weight inclusive approaches.

Job Duty 3 -
Partner and consult with campus dining services to provide support with menu planning, promotional/orientation activities and outreach to students with nutrition concerns.

Job Duty 4 -
Develop and present health education and promotion programs, training, workshops, social media, and outreach initiatives on nutrition education and body positivity.

Job Duty 5 -
Collaborate with staff on departmental and interdisciplinary projects. Coordinate nutritional programming and related activities with various campus departments that will foster and create relationships with community partners that extend nutrition, body image, and eating disorder support services to students.

Job Duty 6 -
Serve as a member and provide direct support to the Multidisciplinary Eating Disorders Support team.

Job Duty 7 -
May supervise graduate assistants, dietetic interns, and student employees in planning, implementing health programs, objectives, and goals.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned



Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition or equivalent and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Required Certifications, Licenses or Permits:
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) License, Licensed in the State of Georgia
Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) (Preferred)

Required Experience
Three to five years of job-related experience as a Dietitian

The School of Psychology ( /) at the Georgia Institute of Technology ( ) invites nominations and applications for 4 open-rank tenure-track faculty positions with an anticipated start date of August 2024. Successful applicants are expected to demonstrate and develop an exceptional research program. We are particularly interested in candidates whose scholarship focuses on Applied Behavioral Sciences, including but not limited to Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Quantitative Psychology,HumanFactors/EngineeringPsychology,andAdultDevelopmentandAging. Ideal candidates will place a strong emphasis on the use of quantitative and computational methodologiesinthedevelopmentofuse-inspiredtheoryandresearchtoaddressmodern workplace and/or societal challenges. We are particularly interested in candidates who can build bridges within the School, across the Institute, and beyond. This includes fostering collaborative interactions with other School members and contributing to bridge-building with other academic and research units at Tech and with government and industry.



Required Qualifications

A Ph.D. in Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Applied Quantitative Methods or related STEM field is required at the time of appointment. Candidates should have a strong record of academic accomplishments commensurate with their current academic rank and an externally funded research program or show potential to establish one. Candidates should have a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship and will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate instructional missions of the School.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.

In addition to the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia, ECE also has permanent operations at Georgia Tech-Lorraine in France and Georgia Tech-Shenzhen in China. Job Summary

The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for the position of Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses in the area of Electrical Engineering.

Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is invested in engineering education and who will deliver excellent teaching in the area of electrical power systems, power electronics, power conversion, and rotating machines. We are open to applicants in all areas of electrical engineering, but we are particularly interested in candidates with teaching and research experience in one or more of the following topics: power electronic devices, controls, and circuits; power system modeling, control, stability, protection, and transients, motor/generator modeling, design, and testing.

This is a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure track academic position. Salary commensurate with qualifications. (Includes full benefits). Lecturer positions are part of a teaching faculty career track at Georgia Tech which provides opportunities for advancement to Senior and Principal Lecturer positions.

Primary responsibilities of the Lecturer will include, but are not limited to:

  • providing high-quality classroom teaching
  • teaching primarily undergraduate classes
  • participating in course development

The Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology & Emory University invites applications from exceptional senior candidates working in the area of Neuroengineering, broadly defined. The successful candidate will be named the Georgia Research Alliance (GRA) Eminent Scholar in Neuroengineering, an endowed position specific to the Georgia Tech campus. GRA eminent scholars are expected to engage in or contribute to translational and/or economic development efforts in their field. Applicants should have earned a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. The School of History and Sociology (HSOC) is a uniquely interdisciplinary unit with an intellectual culture of cross-pollination between sociological and historical scholarship, as well as work in science and technology studies. The School is united around a vision of scholarship and teaching that elucidates processes of local, national, and global change, past and present. The Senior Systems Designers create rewarding loops that help players set goals, progress, and stay engaged over multiple play sessions. You will collaborate closely with the Game Director, department leads, and cross-disciplinary teams to define and drive the strategic vision for player progression and meta systems. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the vision and execution of player progression, meta systems, and engagement loops across single and multiplayer experiences.

Qualifications: 1.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

An MBA degree is a PLUS.

Proficiency in Tableau, Advanced Excel, and other financial software.

4.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPIs.

5.

Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

6.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial associates.

7.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
