Position Summary
Performs a variety of technical work in the day-to-day operation of the Public Works Asset Management and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Programs. Provide support and training to end users as assigned. These tasks are illustrative only and may include other related duties.

Essential Duties
Modifies and maintains CMMS data to support asset data analysis. Works independently with vendors, and Public Works supervisors to assist in program development by gathering information for assets and other new and old data and information needed to allow the asset data system to function effectively; creates new codes for the above areas mentioned and when necessary modifies asset characteristics and descriptions.
Provides daily user support including routine troubleshooting and system and data maintenance for asset data analysis, working closely with Information Technology and GIS to evaluate responsibility for addressing specific requests. Ensures the integration of CMMS with other systems and relevant databases.
Assists with the establishment and maintenance of user profiles within the CMMS, e.g. security settings and access controls for each program user.
Assists with establishing equipment records; associates the manufacturer's maintenance recommendations with the equipment records. Defines, compiles, and incorporates maintenance activities in the CMMS system. Provides guidance and support to end users in the operation, use and capabilities of the CMMS.
Coordinates with Public Works program supervisors to efficiently and accurately enter data into the system. Collects and enters asset data into the CMMS and related databases from various sources including direct field investigation; documents such as as-built drawings, invoices, and O&M manuals.
Generates standard and ad-hoc reports using the standard report structure of the asset data system, and other end user reporting tools. Fulfills requests for reports and information; works with end users to understand business processes and report requirements for assigned projects.
Performs quality control checks of asset data to ensure the accuracy of all data within the system.
Provides input to the division supervisor on system needs, the performance of asset data software and hardware, and improvements to the asset data analysis system.
Provides in-house training programs and manuals for asset management, CMMS, GIS, and other relevant software applications.
Maintains professional networks and attends training sessions and conferences as necessary to advance skills and keep abreast of issues and practices in all areas of responsibility.
Researches and makes recommendations on Asset Management and CMMS needs; monitors the performance of asset data software and hardware and recommends improvements. Assists with CMMS hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system. Ensures the implementation of processes and practices are in support of asset management best practices and are synchronized with GIS. Assists with hardware and software upgrades for the asset data analysis system.
Serves as a member of various City committees as assigned. Assists other staff in the performance of their duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent required. Four years of related experience, training and/or education in Information Technology, Asset Management or GIS with three of those years in database development and project management in an increasingly responsible capacity.

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, including major coursework in computer science and engineering and significant coursework in database system management. Two years of increasingly responsible related experience in database development and project management.
Related experience includes significant responsibility collecting, entering and verifying data, supporting users, analyzing workflows and data, and reporting.
Prior experience and/or education in the maintenance and use of Asset Management/CMMS/GIS systems preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
General knowledge of the principles, theories and methods of database concepts, structures, and programming logic; and the various types, classes, uses, and interrelationships of assets. Knowledge of asset management within a typical municipal Public Works department preferred.
CMMS and GIS software skills are preferred, including creating, editing and reporting on assets, using built-in functions or query languages (e.g. SQL).
Ability to develop procedures and to provide end user training.
Effective communication, analytical, customer service, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Ability to get along well with co-workers and maintain working relationships; ability to promote a culture of teamwork and communication.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
- Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Business Intelligence and Data Services department provides comprehensive data support as a centralized resource for the organization. Services include data integration and warehousing, analytic reporting, business intelligence solutions, statistical data analysis, and data science solutions.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably in an Information Systems related field). An advanced degree in information systems, mathematics, statistics, analytics, engineering or a related field preferred.
- Eight (8) years professional and/or leadership experience in data analytics/business intelligence/data science required.
- Five (5) years experience in the management of technical resources required.
- Two (2) years experience in business intelligence/data science delivery required.
- Project management and continuous process improvement experience required.
- Experience with Epic Cogito strongly preffered.
- Experience in multiple data-related technologies required.
- Project management certifications preferred.
- Experience providing advanced business intelligence and data science solutions in a healthcare setting preferred.

Position Summary
Lead position that requires multi-certification and disciplines necessary to handle project approvals from start to finish through the plan review and inspection processes in accordance with the Division's mission and performance objectives.
Direct and lead Building Inspector/Plans Examiners and seasonal/casual staff. Assist the Division Manager and Building Official with program planning and personnel direction. Oversee the coordination of the building safety plan review and inspection process. Conduct construction code reviews and inspections for residential, commercial, industrial and multi-family development proposals. Depending on the Division's needs, employees in this position may be assigned to focus primarily on plan review or inspection duties. These positions are anticipated to be assigned primarily to commercial and residential plan review.Essential Duties
Building Inspector/Plans Examiner III
Leads and coordinates members of the development review and inspection teams to ensure a timely, predictable, comprehensive and accurate plan review and inspection process for any development proposal.
Reviews and inspects residential, commercial, industrial, and multi-family development proposals to ensure compliance with State and City codes/ordinances, engineering/architectural, and fire/life safety principles.
Depending on the Division's needs, performs construction plan review and site inspections:
- Conducts Pre-Development, Plan Intake, and Pre-Construction meetings.
- Takes the lead in coordinating plan reviews and inspections internally, with customers, and with other departments and agencies.
- Maintains communication with contractors to anticipate and resolve onsite issues.
- Performs building safety inspections and plan reviews.
- Calculates and assesses fees.
- Monitors permit and project status and follow-up with expired applications and permits.
- Maintains accurate records and files of construction plan reviews, inspections, and related correspondence. Archives documents as required.
- Manages phased development and deferred submittal process for assigned projects.

Position Summary
Perform duties in alignment with requirements set forth by the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Environmental Protection Agency to protect public health and the environment by ensuring the integrity of the City's wastewater and storm water systems. Responsibilities include maintaining system operability, minimizing system overflow occurrences, and protecting the investment made in the infrastructure by being responsive to customer concerns and/or system failures. Essential Duties
Inspects, installs, connects, maintains, cleans, operates, tests, and repairs all appurtenances associated with the City's wastewater and storm water systems as they relate to residential, commercial and industrial customers. Maintains access to system manholes, taps, and pipelines.
Responds to complaints regarding illicit discharges, plugged sewers, flooding and odors. Assesses and evaluates situation, explains findings to leadworker or supervisor. Contacts business owners and residents in area where services may be interrupted and explains when repairs will be completed.
Maintains stormwater detention facilities, water quality ponds, and urban streams. Performs inspections, riparian area maintenance, vegetation and debris removal, channel management and bank stabilization.
Uses computerized television inspection equipment to analyze and rate facilities for consideration of needed future maintenance.
Incumbents may be assigned primary responsibility for the Vector Control Program. Responds to customer concerns and baits for rats in the sanitary sewer system, and addresses trapping needs for nutria, opossum, and other mammals in the surface water piping system and urban stream areas of Corvallis.
Responds to emergency calls, including after-hours response within required timeframe. Position may involve working overtime and on weekends as needed.
Maintains job-site safety for co-workers and the general public including traffic control and minimization of hazardous conditions.
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment used in the wastewater and storm water systems.Identifies system needs and assists with planning and scheduling maintenance and repairs.
Maintains wastewater and storm water system operation and maintenance records and reports with the use of various computerized maintenance management systems. Maintains daily records and reports pertaining to activities, equipment and materials utilized, consistent with local, County, State and federal requirements.
Coordinates with other Public Works work groups and provides services, data and information as needed for successful completion of work and/or projects. Provides project acceptance for new infrastructure and ensures integrity of wastewater/storm water system infrastructure.

First Aid and CPR certification; ODOT Traffic Control, Confined Space Entry, Forklift Operation training, NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP Certification or the ability to obtain/complete within one (1) year of appointment.
Possession of and the ability to maintain a valid Oregon Drivers License. Ability to obtain an Oregon Class A commercial driver's license, with tanker and air brake endorsement, within the probationary period.
Must be able to respond within 60 minutes or less to the Public Works Administrative offices for after-hours calls or emergencies prior to the end of probationary period.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical direction in areas such as reactor and fluid systems design, reactor physics, materials development, component design for steam generators, pumps, and valves, instrumentation and control for reactor and propulsion plants, testing and quality control, radiation shielding, and chemistry and radiological controls; review designs and analyses from laboratories, shipyards, and industry partners; coordinate with fleet units to ensure safe and reliable nuclear plant operation.
