Key duties:
- Manage Fabrication RFQ's
- Print and prioritize based on compatibility
- Communicate with customers RE their RFQ's

ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking skilled Make-Ready Designers (primary focus) and Power Distribution Designers to support engineering programs for major electric and telecom utilities. Ideal candidates bring demonstrated experience in overhead utility pole design, NESC application, clearance assessment, pole loading analysis, and construction package development. Useful design platforms include DDS, Katapult, O-Calc, GIS, MicroStation, AutoCAD, or client-specific drafting systems.
In this role, you will review field/walkout data, evaluate existing attachment conditions, model pole loading, determine make-ready requirements, and prepare accurate construction-ready deliverables. Applicants without utility pole design or distribution engineering experience will not be considered.

The DCI Test Development Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of hardware products, contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing process and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development and production deployment of production software applications and data center infrastructure spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions. What will you do?

Experience designing and integrating hydronic systems including pumps, piping networks, valves, and heat exchangers for data center cooling applications.

Select appropriate materials and fabrication methods to optimize cost, performance, and reliability
Collaborate with electrical, thermal, and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical designs with functional components.
Lead mechanical design reviews and contribute to cross-functional design validation efforts.
Develop and maintain design documentation including BOMs, specifications, test plans, and engineering change orders (ECOs).
Drive continuous improvement in mechanical design for manufacturability (DFM), cost reduction, and performance optimization.
Interface with suppliers and customers to resolve fabrication issues and ensure quality standards are met.
Support lifecycle management of mechanical components, including obsolescence planning and alternate sourcing.
Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures or field issues.
Ensure mechanical designs support airflow management, thermal containment, and integration with cooling systems (in-row cooling, rear door heat exchangers).
Collaborate with compliance and certification teams to ensure mechanical designs meet global regulatory requirements (UL, CE, RoHS, REACH)

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in mechanical design and fabrication, preferably in data center, industrial, or power systems environment.
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor) and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus).
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes including welding, sheet metal forming, and machining is a must
Experience with structural design for heavy equipment or large assemblies, and familiarity with thermal and airflow considerations in enclosure design is required

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in cloud engineering who is ready to take ownership of infrastructure components and collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Executes projects to research, proof of concept, and implement new solutions. Maintains awareness of trends and technologies to meet new and emerging stakeholder requirements.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Champion the selection of Data and Analytics platforms and tools to be used across the enterprise.
- Engage with users and vendors to execute technology proof of concepts that validate use cases and the value of new solutions.
- Onboard new platforms and tools to ensure solutions are adopted effectively across the organization.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to identify tooling gaps and inefficiencies and partner to implement solutions for their needs.
