General Summary

As the Director of Maintenance, you will be the on‑site authority guiding all maintenance and service operations to ensure aircraft are safe, airworthy, and ready for flight. You'll oversee maintenance activities in full alignment with FAA regulations, the Quality Control Manual (QCM), the Repair Station Manual (RSM), and all approved maintenance data. Your leadership ensures every aircraft is maintained and released to service in full compliance with 14 CFR Part 145.

In this pivotal role, you will provide the strategic direction, hands‑on leadership, and regulatory accountability that keeps our maintenance organization operating at peak performance. You'll lead and mentor maintenance teams, oversee maintenance planning, and drive the daily execution of service operations at your assigned location-all while fostering a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsbilities

Regulatory & Airworthiness Oversight

• Ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 145, Repair Station Manual, Quality Manual, and applicable FAA guidance.
• Ensure maintenance is performed using approved technical data and proper procedures.
• Ensure proper execution of return-to-service documentation.
• Support FAA, customer, and third-party audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.
• Coordinate with Quality and Engineering on regulatory interpretation and compliance matters.

Maintenance & Service Execution

• Direct all maintenance, inspection, repair, and modification activities at the site.
• Ensure effective planning, sequencing, and control of maintenance work.
• Ensure personnel, tooling, facilities, and materials are adequate for assigned work.
• Conduct daily production oversight to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution.

Safety Management

• Promote and enforce a safety-first culture in accordance with the company Safety Management System (SMS).
• Ensure hazards, incidents, and near misses are reported and addressed.
• Support investigations and corrective actions related to maintenance events or deviations.

Personnel & Training

• Ensure maintenance personnel are properly trained, qualified, and authorized to perform assigned tasks.
• Ensure compliance with training, certification, and recurrent qualification requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction, and accountability to maintenance supervisors and staff.

Operational Performance

• Monitor and manage performance related to schedule adherence, labor utilization, and rework.
• Identify and address operational constraints impacting compliance, safety, or delivery.
• Support coordination with Planning, Parts, Quality, and Customer Experience functions.

Top Candidates Will Possess

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Business or related field preferred
• Minimum 10 years aircraft maintenance experience
• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance leadership role within a Part 145 environment
• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate required
• Deep understanding of business aviation airframes, powerplants, and diagnostics
• Strong working knowledge of FAA Part 145 (and Part 91/135 interfaces), safety management systems, and quality assurance principles
• Ability to troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and guide teams through efficient, compliant resolutions

Engineering Technician - Product Engineering Support

Milan, IL

24 months (can extend)

Pay rate: $28/ hours on w2

Someone working as an automotive technician or electrical technician would be a good target. They can teach some of the testing and reading of schematics if needed. Candidates must be familiar working with the tools/machinery.

MAJOR PURPOSE:

Working in the Accelerated Design Verification (ADV) group to provide project support performing test setup, monitoring, inspection, and reporting using procedures and criteria set forth in the test plan. This is a 3rd shift position. (10p-6:30a).

MAJOR DUTIES:

Assembly of test rigs based on layout drawings and setup instructions. This includes:

Mechanical assembly using hand tools and battery/air impact wrenches

Use of overhead cranes

Connecting hydraulic plumbing

Connecting electrical control cables

Requires bending, kneeling, working at floor level

Must be able to lift 25 lbs

Document any changes to the setup procedure and layout drawings for continuous improvement.

Monitor and adjust test controls as necessary to keep the tests running efficiently.

Perform test specimen inspections and make repairs as required by the defined test parameters.

Document all test related incidents and activities using a web-based application.

Contact the appropriate personnel as required to prevent safety issues, environmental issues, and failures to test equipment or specimens and perform emergency shutoff procedures if necessary.

Perform routine lab maintenance and cleaning. Including, but not limited to, mopping, vacuuming, organizing, and putting away tools/equipment in the lab.

Pick up parts from the Parts Distribution Center and perform various other errands.

PREFERRED BACKGROUND

Experience working on machinery (tear down and repair), mechanic/mechanical background

Knowledge of Windows file/folder structure and how to copy/move/rename files

Good computer skills with Microsoft Office

Ability to read dimensioned part drawings and test layout drawings

Ability to work independently

Experience with servo-hydraulic or hydraulic systems preferred, but not necessary

Job Summary:

This entry level Electrical Engineer is a great opportunity to apply your technical skills while coordinating numerous capital projects across the Plate department. This role is driven by self-directed work and collaborative efforts with a team of Electrical Engineers, Technical staff, maintenance, and production across the department.

The Electrical Engineer reports to the Lead Electrical Engineer in the department and will work Monday through Friday during daytime hours. You will support off-shifts as needed for your respective projects.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate all phases of assigned area electrical engineering projects from concept, scope development, written specifications, bid solicitations, design, manufacturing, equipment commissioning, and project closure.
• Lead and participate in problem solving efforts with multi-discipline technical staff, maintenance and production.
• Use PI Vision and Data Link to analyze process issues and provide input to solve process problems.
• Create and develop electrical control solutions that will support process improvements and improve equipment reliability.
• Assist production and maintenance with equipment and process issues.
• PLC/HMI and controls redesign and upgrades of existing processes.
• Install and troubleshoot camera systems on industrial equipment.
• Incorporate SMART Manufacturing principles and tools into automated inspection systems to improve processes, data collection/analysis, and drive quick results in recovery improvements.

Qualifications

You have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• 1-3 years of Electrical Engineering experience (including Internship)
