Manufacturing Engineers learn production operations and the manufacturing discipline in a controlled environment. Primary responsibilities include developing the comprehensive manufacturing process for 3D metal parts for various radar, integrated sensor, and effector programs. The candidate will create, test, and upgrade Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs, develop and document fixturing and setups for CMM inspection, and create inspection plans. They will also assess process failures, disposition non-conforming hardware, and create and execute robust Root Cause/Corrective Action plans to permanently solve problems. What You Will Do
Translate engineering design requirements into formal manufacturing process documentation including CMM programming, inspection planning, finishing requirements, and assembly instructions

Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team

Raytheon is currently seeking a Senior Test Equipment Design Engineer to join the Sensor Test Solutions (STS) Department. This is an excellent position for engineers with a background in electrical design and software programming/automation, along with a desire to apply those skills to developing, building, and integrating advanced test platforms and architectures.
You will be joining a project team responsible for the development of test solutions and architectures for various programs within Raytheon. Typical test development applications include analog/digital, RF, High Power, and embedded software/firmware design activities. Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated experience with electrical engineering design concepts
Minimum 5 years of related experience excluding internships
Experience leading technical tasks and small to mid-sized project teams
Exposure to project management tools such as MS Project, Jira/Confluence, and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) tracking software
Experience with National Instruments’ TestStand, LabWindows/CVI, and/or LabVIEW
Experience with Digital, Analog, RF, and/or Power Supply test hardware and/or software design
Experience with the routine use and/or automation of commercial test and measurement equipment, i.e. Oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, power supplies, etc.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
