The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team discipline is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support integration and test activities for NASAMS (surface to air defense system) programs. In this role you will collaborate internally across functions and externally with our industry partners and U.S. Government customers to plan, prepare and execute Product Acceptance Testing and System Demonstration of the NASAMS Fire Unit.  This position reports into the overall NASAMS SI&T Cross Product Team Lead.

What You Will Do:

• Support the test architect in the integration and test strategy development and implementation to include metric collection and tracking.

• Support the development and review of test plans and test procedures.

• Support the planning, preparations, and conduct and product acceptance, system demonstration, and System Integration and Checkout (SICO) events.

• Identify and coordinate resources required for execution of demonstration and test events.

• Responsible for providing technical assistance to the program SI&T CPT lead to include development of technical briefings for program and engineering leadership.

• International travel up to 20%. Regular travel between Raytheon locations in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire is required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

What You Will Do:

As an Control Account Manager, you’ll be assigned to one or more LTAMDS programs and will be responsible for providing innovative and trusted solutions that optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Land and Air Defense products and services over their life cycle. As a Deployment Fielding and Sustainment (DFS) CAM, the successful candidate will support the DFS program Leads, LTAMDS Program Control Account Managers, and Program leads in the successful completion of monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) inputs, reporting and analysis, monthly Budget Change Requests (BCRs), facilitate EAC and LRE inputs, and demonstrate the ability to perform meaningful analysis and effective communication to drive predictable results. Scope of work includes partnering with engineering and program leads for EVMS process inputs, EAC/LRE development, monthly variance reporting, and weekly analysis of cost and labor runs. The role focuses on driving cost control and schedule using APEX/SAP EV, IMS, and PMX management reporting tools. The candidate will be required to perform analyses and prepare reports to drive predictable cost and schedule. The ability to be self-sufficient as well as operating in a team environment, supporting both the Functional organizations, and ensuring program financial commitments are met and are fundamental to success in this role.

• Support the creation of Estimates at Complete (EACs) on a quarterly basis and

Latest Revised Estimates (LRE) on a monthly basis including estimate of costs, test of reasonableness analysis, and risk and opportunities assessment at the Program / Product / Mission area level.

• Perform detailed EV and financial analysis to budget baseline, schedule, and EAC positions.

• Prepare forecasts, monitor actual costs, and document variances to plans and forecasts

• Providing LCE inputs to proposals, supporting customer proposal negotiations, executing program start-up to include program Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule and performance baseline development. Developing and partnering customer proposals, white papers, statements of work and Basis of Estimates

Job Summary:

An exciting opportunity exists at Raytheon for a Semiconductor Dry Etch Engineering Lead to join our III-V compound semiconductor foundry team fabricating gallium nitride and gallium arsenide-based devices within the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department.  This role requires a broad understanding of microelectronics processing and subject matter expertise in one or more dry etch related techniques including plasma ashing/descum, reactive ion etching (RIE), and inductively coupled etching (ICP).

As a member of the AMS Department, the individual in this role will serve as the dry etch processes lead engineer and collaborate with the various engineering work centers in the III-V semiconductor wafer foundry. The candidate will lead and assist projects in process sustainment, capital allocation, directing process and capital qualifications, improving cycle time, improving product yield, developing new data driven controls, and driving overall wafer movement efficiency.

The chosen candidate is expected to be an innovative and creative thinker capable of probing issues and reaching solutions both independently and in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of various microelectronics processing techniques beyond deposition, including wet and dry etching, lift-off techniques, photolithography, metrology, process characterization, foundry data integrity, and large data analysis methods.

The candidate is expected to work well in large and small, cross-functional teams, understand foundry processes, determine capacity limitations, improve overall equipment effectiveness, identify yield improvement opportunities, gather sponsorship and team resources, and execute on continuous improvement activities. Presence on the foundry floor is essential for quick resolution of technical issues as well as the ability to work with operations, facilities, equipment, and quality teams. The role requires a large degree of multitasking with attention to detail while managing priorities depending on the nature of the problems and the commitments.

This role will be 100% on-site and based in Andover, MA.

• Sustainment of current dry etch production processes and involvement with development of new process
• Set and report center priorities at the 8am foundry tier meeting
• Identify process improvement opportunities

• Manipulate large datasets and use statistical analysis to define SPC controls, manage projects, and assign risk

Qualifications You Must Have:

The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Surface Radars & Sensors Center is seeking a Chief Product Owner (CPO) to lead the overall vision, strategy, and coordination of the C5I business area operating within the organization’s agile, multi-team environments. In this role, you will lead a team of product owners, align product goals with business strategy, and resolve dependencies, ensuring coordinated execution across the C5I programs scope.

What You Will Do

• Lead a matrixed engineering team, fostering collaboration across disciplines to meet program objectives and exceed customer expectations.

• Partner with the program leadership team to define and implement the "Definition of Done," ensuring quality and consistency throughout the product lifecycle.

• Serve as the primary interface with internal stakeholders, aligning technical execution with programmatic and business goals.

• Define, communicate, and implement the product vision and strategy to meet product line objectives.

• Oversee AGILE processes across SCRUM Teams, including Program Increment (PI) Planning, Scaled Daily Meetings, Tech Times, and Team Demos.

• Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog to ensure efficient execution of project goals.

• Support the program leadership team in providing innovative solutions to challenging problems for U.S. customers.

• Lead customer-facing demonstrations of the C5I system to potential new customers, contributing to the growth of the product line.

• This position is on site in Tewksbury, MA.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex engineering projects.

• Experience working in an Agile environment and/or on Agile development projects.

• Experience in overseeing and/or monitoring technical cost and schedule performance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with software product development, networking, computing platforms, cybersecurity compliance (e.g., Link16, MIL-STD-6016).

• Six Sigma, CORE, Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Software Project Management Certification and/or PMX certification.

• Prior experience with the C5I product line or other DOD programs.

• Ability to understand command and control and/or radar technology in the areas of software design, integration and test.

• Proven experience in large, complex defense systems.

• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively drive a shared vision across stakeholders and teams.

Position title:
Instructor (Non-Senate, Non-Tenure Track)

Salary range:
The compensation model varies depending upon the course delivery format. For a synchronous Live Online course, a reasonable estimate for this position is $3,000 -$4,000 total per course. For an asynchronous Start Anytime Online course, this position is paid $165 per final student course grade submitted each month; a reasonable estimate ranges from $660 - $21,285 total per course; and monthly payments typically begin within 6 months after the course start date. Instructor compensation is determined by course length, number of units, enrollment, budgetary considerations, and other factors.

Percent time:
Part-time by agreement on a course-by-course basis.

Anticipated start:
Some appointments may begin as early as the spring semester.

General Duties
