• Provide leadership, support, and direction to empower wage production operators to achieve their common objectives.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Operate industrial equipment to manufacture the components and final products (tires or tracks) while respecting the safety, quality, productivity levels and other Michelin standards.

• Inspect and verify the quality and adherence to standards of your production such as rubber mixes, rubber/metal components, or tires/tracks.

Job Title: Test Technician

Location: West Columbia, SC

Hire Type: Contract to Hire

Shift: 1st Shift

We’re seeking a hands-on Test Technician with a solid technical foundation and strong troubleshooting abilities to support our electronic product testing operations. The ideal candidate will have formal training, certifications, or education in electronics and a working knowledge of Ohm’s Law, schematic reading, and electrical power systems. This role focuses on real-world testing, debugging, and validation.

Job Duties:

• Conduct electrical and electronic tests to verify performance, functionality, and compliance with production quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues at the component, board, and system levels using schematics and test equipment.
• Develop, maintain, and improve test and burn-in processes to ensure reliability and throughput.
• Review and update process specifications and documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with current practices.
• Monitor yields and identify root causes of test failures, coordinating corrective actions with engineering and quality teams.
• Support the design, setup, and validation of new test fixtures, jigs, and diagnostic tools.
• Perform firmware flashing, system configuration, and multi-unit hardware interconnects (Ethernet/BNC/twisted pair).
• Set up and test complex disk arrays or power distribution assemblies as required.
• Maintain preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for all test equipment.
• Drive recovery and repair efforts for any downed test or burn-in stations, coordinating across maintenance and engineering teams.

Qualifications:

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, rework, and repair of electronic assemblies, PCBAs, wiring harnesses, and mechanical components to restore units to full functional condition. All work must meet IPC standards, customer requirements, and ESD-safe handling practices.

Job Duties:

• Perform diagnostics, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical assemblies.
• Execute component-level and board-level rework in accordance with IPC-7711/7721 standards.
• Perform soldering, de-soldering, component replacement, wiring, and mechanical assembly per work instructions.
• Inspect and rework PCBAs, connectors, wiring harnesses, and solder joints to IPC Class 2 and 3 standards.
• Operate diagnostic and test equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, power supplies, microscopes, and programmable auto-testers.
• Use soldering stations, hot-air rework tools, hand tools, and ESD-safe equipment.
• Identify nonconforming conditions and apply corrective actions aligned with quality and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate job tracking, component usage records, and part traceability documentation.
• Pick components, prepare repair/rework kits, and support part verification processes.
• Ensure proper material handling and ESD-compliant storage practices.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to report defects, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company policies.
• Assist and train coworkers as needed and provide feedback on product or process improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree, military, or vocational training preferred.
• 6+ years of electronics repair or rework experience
• Strong experience with PCBAs, component-level repair, and IPC workmanship standards.
• IPC-A-610 and/or Certified IPC Specialist (CIS) certification required
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and technical work instructions.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, soldering, and ESD-safe practices.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive or detailed manual work.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. • 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
• The ability to define and implement a vision for experimentation best practices across diverse product areas
