Raytheon’s Land Air Defense Systems (LADS) Engineering Execution Department is seeking a skilled and motivated Cross Product Team Lead (CPTL) to support a large Patriot missile program. The CPTL is responsible for various engineering activities, including defining early integration in cooperation with the project development teams, directing CPT engineers, supporting the planning for requirements sell off, planning, execution, and analysis for system integration and verification, in hardware-in-the-loop facilities, ground and flight tests. Activities require the ability to support alternate shifts and/or extended hours and require travel. This position is onsite based in Andover, MA.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for cost, schedule and execution for Missile systems integration, verification and validation scope across a program.
• Lead a small team of engineers with planning and execution of integration and test activities for missile sub-assemblies.
• Working with systems engineers to define knowledge points ensuring risk burn-down throughout the development process.
• Mentor junior engineers with establishing methodical and disciplined processes for planning and execution of integration and test activities.
• Prepare documentation such as test plans, procedures, integration information sheets, test cases, and reports.
• Analyze data to identify and resolve system performance issues and complete requirement verification.
• Compile, summarize, and present data analysis to internal and external stakeholders, including program leadership and external customers.
• Collaborate across engineering functions to drive performance and resolve issues. Includes working closely with operations and manufacturing teams.
• Brief Program Management and USG customer on plans and status
• Travel as required to meet programmatic objectives. Regular travel between multiple Raytheon locations in Massachusetts is required. Occasional domestic and potential international travel.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience developing program baselines, managing cost, schedule and quality for technical projects.
• Experience leading/contributing to proposals, such as creating BOEs or contributing to leadership proposal reviews.

Job Summary:

The RF Microelectronics/Module Design & Foundry Services Department at Raytheon in Andover, MA, is currently seeking a Principal Electro-Mechanical Engineer to develop leading-edge miniaturized 3DHI sensors and systems to enable future generation technologies across Raytheon.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated “self-starter” who will apply strong mechanical and electrical engineering skills to implement innovative solutions to challenging design criteria. They will be involved in research efforts including initial concepts, advanced technology demonstrations, and will have the opportunity to follow product development from beginning to end, including documentation, fabrication, assembly, and test/delivery of a range of microelectronics products. The role requires knowledge of high-density microelectronic packaging designs including Interposers, organic substrates, wafer and chip bumping and general knowledge in areas of electronic components/devices such as ASICs and FPGAs, design of electronic packaging chassis and structures, interconnects (connectors/cables), and thermal management design of high-density electronic systems and electronic enclosures. • Disposition non-conforming material with root cause and corrective action analysis as required

Position title:
Instructor (Non-Senate, Non-Tenure Track)

Salary range:
The compensation model varies depending upon the course delivery format. For a synchronous Live Online course, a reasonable estimate for this position is $3,000 -$4,000 total per course. For an asynchronous Start Anytime Online course, this position is paid $165 per final student course grade submitted each month; a reasonable estimate ranges from $660 - $21,285 total per course; and monthly payments typically begin within 6 months after the course start date. Instructor compensation is determined by course length, number of units, enrollment, budgetary considerations, and other factors.

Percent time:
Part-time by agreement on a course-by-course basis.

Anticipated start:
Some appointments may begin as early as the spring semester.

General Duties

• Build ODI mappings/interfaces, packages, procedures, scenarios, topology configuration, ODI Agent and load plans to integrate data from multiple enterprise systems.
