Job Title: Commercial Drywall Estimator
Location: Charleston, South Carolina
Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 base salary DOE

Position Overview
A well-established commercial drywall subcontractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their Charleston, SC office. Candidates must have direct estimating experience working for a commercial drywall subcontractor. General Contractor-only experience will not be considered.
This individual will be responsible for leading the preconstruction and estimating process for commercial interior and exterior wall system projects, ensuring accurate, competitive, and profitable bid submissions.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on estimating experience in commercial drywall, acoustical ceilings, EIFS, light gauge metal framing, and stucco across ground-up and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for drywall and exterior wall system scopes
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and addenda to develop accurate cost estimates
- Solicit and level vendor and supplier pricing
- Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and scope reviews
- Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving strategies
- Collaborate with Project Management and Operations during turnover meetings
- Assist with budgeting, conceptual estimates, and negotiated work as needed
- Maintain strong relationships with General Contractors, vendors, and internal teams
Required Experience
- Proven estimating experience with a commercial drywall subcontractor
- Strong background in:
- Commercial Drywall
- Acoustical Ceilings
- EIFS
- Light Gauge Metal Framing
- Stucco Systems
- Experience bidding commercial projects in healthcare, education, multifamily, hospitality, or mixed-use sectors preferred

• Lead full-cycle estimating for fast-track projects ranging from $500K–$5M
• Attend turnover meetings and develop a deep understanding of project specs, plans, and bid packages
• Prepare scopes of work and cost breakdowns, including value engineering when applicable

Front Desk Manager
Job Summary
The Front Desk Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Front Office and lobby market in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy, and market sales.
Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities; for OEM associates, overtime does apply and is calculated accordingly.
Exempt managers must customarily and regular direct the work of at least 3 full-time associates or their equivalents. Primary duties must consist of administrative, executive, or professional tasks more than 50 percent of the time and job duties must also involve the use of discretion and independent judgment more than 50 percent of the time.
Job Duties & Functions
- Respond to all guest requests, problems, complaints and/or accidents presented at the Front Desk or through Reservations, in an attentive, courteous and efficient manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all Front Desk personnel according to Avion Hospitality S.O.P.'s.
- Ensure compliance to brand and company training, using the steps to effective training according to Avion Hospitality standards.
- Prepare and conduct all Front Desk interviews and follow hiring procedures according to Avion Hospitality S.O.P.'s.
- Conduct all 90 day and annual Front Desk employee performance appraisals according to S.O.P.'s.
- Develop employee morale and ensure training of Front Desk personnel.
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate efficiency, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count.
- Attend all required Rooms Merchandizing meetings with all appropriate reports and documentation necessary to establish select sell guidelines and implement appropriate restrictions.
- Supervise the Night Audit function and monitor the House Charge Worksheet and Flash Report for accuracy.
- Supervise operations of the lobby market for accuracy and theft prevention.
- Participate in required M.O.D. program as scheduled.
- Be responsible for developing a manager as assigned by the Corporate Office, including sign-off on all competencies and assist in his/her placement.
- Greet and welcome all guests approaching the Front Desk in accordance with Avion Hospitality S.O.P.'s.
- Assist the General Manager and Engineering Department in implementing and maintaining emergency procedures.
- Be familiar with all corporate sponsored programs such as airline mileage, Triple Upgrade, or V.I.P. programs, and the standards and procedures for each.
- Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
- Conduct meetings according to Avion Hospitality standards as required by management.

Job Details Project Management Lead multiple projects from concept through completion with full ownership of schedule, budget, and deliverables.
Develop detailed project plans, resource forecasts, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate seamlessly with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to drive on-time, high-quality results.
Technical Leadership Review, interpret, and validate structural drawings, specifications, and engineering calculations.
Provide expert guidance on design, materials, and installation of containment systems and ceilings.
Ensure all work meets structural integrity standards and complies with applicable building codes and safety requirements.
Quality & Compliance Perform site inspections, quality checks, and compliance audits.
Manage RFIs, submittals, and documentation to maintain alignment with design intent and client expectations.
Champion safe construction practices in accordance with OSHA and internal safety standards.
Communication & Coordination Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, engineers, and subcontractors.
Lead project meetings, provide clear progress updates, and maintain transparent communication.
Anticipate challenges and proactively resolve issues to protect timelines and budgets.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
5+ years of project management experience within structural systems, building envelopes, industrial construction, or similar sectors.
Strong knowledge of load paths, framing systems, and structural design fundamentals.
Familiarity with US building codes, standards, and engineering best practices.
Ability to read and interpret complex structural drawings and technical documents.
