Boeing Commercial Airplanes is excited to offer opportunities for an Aircraft Structures Mechanic to join our Join and Installation team in Everett and Renton, Washington .

As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic, you will utilize your manufacturing knowledge to set up tools and equipment for drilling and fastening complex structures, including composite materials. You will operate various hand and machine tools, including automated equipment, to perform tasks according to specifications while ensuring safety and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include recognizing and reporting any equipment malfunctions, performing maintenance, and coordinating the movement of materials and tools. You will also cut, assemble, and install components, verify your work against specifications, and handle hazardous materials safely.

Position Responsibilities:

• Review daily reports and consult with team leaders to determine job assignments and obtain necessary documentation.

• Locate work areas using specified drawings and paperwork.

• Verify kitted parts against installation plans and bill of materials, ensuring they are suitable and defect-free.

• Retrieve non-kitted parts from designated areas, ensuring compliance with specifications.

• Use electronic devices to access work instructions and engineering data (personal cell phones not permitted).

• Select and utilize appropriate hand and power tools for assembly tasks, including precision alignment equipment.

• Move kits, carts, and equipment within the work cell as needed.

• Load/unload jigs and operate mechanical lifts for assembly work.

• Locate tools and parts on aircraft using specified methods and set up assembly tools per instructions.

• Handle hazardous materials safely and dispose of them properly.

• Inspect completed work for defects and cleanliness before submission for inspection.

• Perform minor rework and maintain tool control in accordance with procedures.

• Maintain personal and tool certifications and seek assistance from supervisors when necessary.

• Set up tools and equipment for drilling and fastener installation in complex structures.

• Operate various hand and machine tools, monitoring equipment functionality and performing routine maintenance.

• Coordinate the movement and preparation of materials and tools for tasks.

• Cut, file, drill, and assemble parts, ensuring proper fitting and quality standards.

• Conduct reaming, riveting, and sealing operations, applying corrosion inhibitors as needed.

• Utilize calibrated tools to verify work against specifications and ensure quality.

• Manage equipment and materials within the work cell to ensure efficient workflow.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

• Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

• Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

• Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.

Basic Qualifications :

• 1+ years of experience working with mechanical or structures related statements of work; such as construction, aerospace, automotive, maritime or similar industry; this can include education and military.

• 1+ years of experience using high impact vibratory tools; such as bucking/riveting.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a self-service AI platform that provides reusable patterns, reference implementations, and standardized building blocks for internal engineering teams.

Required:

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Proven ability to lead technical workstreams and translate business needs into durable platform architectures.
• Strong expertise in asynchronous orchestration (e.g., Python) plus proficiency in a statically typed language (Java, Go, or Rust) for high-concurrency platform services.

SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor works under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager. The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising employees engaged in the manufacturing of products within quality, time, and cost standards. Additional responsibilities include enforcing safety protocols, implementing and monitoring process improvements, maintaining process control and troubleshooting documentation.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Oversee production and quality of products to ensure MCX produces defect-free products which meet or exceed customer expectations, on schedule, and to customer requirements.
• Closely monitor operational performance to meet goals and objectives established by the company using plant metrics as a tool for continuous improvement.
• Establish and maintain tiered reporting and problem solving
• Maintains productions processes. Ensures minimal machine downtime by ensuring workstations are staffed, work orders and materials lined up, and set-up times kept to schedule.
• Direct and supervise all personnel involved with the production/manufacturing of products.
• Provides training and development; coaches and develops employees within assigned areas, fostering open communication within the group to promote teamwork. Ensures team is cross trained to support scheduling flexibility according to site standards.

SUMMARY

Provide professional materials planning focusing on daily execution of purchasing and production planning /scheduling support to the organization. This includes close coordination with suppliers, Sales, Customer Service and Manufacturing departments to ensure smooth execution from the supplier through the manufacturing process. Maintain and improve MRP system or other system parameters and systems, generate and release work orders and/or purchase orders, reschedule and maintain area capacity and purchasing delivery plans, as well as product forecasts. Track, monitor, and advise management on production plans and purchasing delivery schedules in order to achieve planned production levels and to provide excellent customer service at the right cost in order to achieve company goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for selecting, ordering, and coordinating materials or services for production and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), based on engineering specifications; drive continuous improvement in price, quality, service, delivery performance, and lead times.
• Maintains all MRP or scheduling systems for purchasing, production planning, supplier delivery planning, and work order/capacity management.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal/external suppliers, customers, other facilities, and Sales staff.
