Responsibilities

Demonstrates competency in selected psychomotor skills as outlined in the skills checklist including: measurement of vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and measuring and recording intake and output. Performs or assists patients with the activities of daily living. Prepares patients for transportation and/or transport. Works closely with nursing to ensure high quality care for the most critical adult and pediatric patients Assists with communication - updating white boards and doing meaningful hourly rounding Floats within the hospital to perform duties as needed Can be utilized as a sitter for patients with that need Assists in setting up any bedside procedure.

Carle Health is seeking additional BE/BC Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists to join our established team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Join a growing team of 4 MFM Specialists, 16 Obstetricians/Gynecologists, 6 Neonatologists, 2 Gynecologic Oncologists, a Pediatric Surgeon, a Geneticist with dedicated MFM genetic counseling, a Dietitian and highly skilled subspecialty midlevel staff
- Four MFM APP's provide prenatal care, inpatient support, and care coordination
- Pediatric specialties on site include Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral, Pulmonology, Sleep and Genetics; additional consultation services available for Pediatric Infectious Disease and Hematology/Oncology
- Practice the full range of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including prenatal diagnosis, complex obstetric management, genetic and perinatal consultation
- Large referral base of 50 regional referring OB-GYN physicians
- In-house coverage for deliveries by BE/BC OB/GYN Hospitalist, NICU and Anesthesia
- Dedicated neonatal and perinatal air and ground transport services
- 90% office practice within Carle Foundation Hospital campus
- Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed Level I Trauma Center with Level III Perinatal services and has been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals™ by Healthgrades® for 8 years in a row
