GENERAL SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership to the Manufacturing Engineering team to advance manufacturing by reducing cost, improving quality, expanding safety, and increasing on-time delivery. This position functions as a working supervisor and is expected to both lead the team and directly perform hands-on manufacturing engineering activities as the business needs require.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Leading project teams to acquire, integrate and implement technologies into manufacturing and production processes.
Ensure appropriate procedures and support documentation are maintained properly and efficiently. Includes: Manufacturing processes, NC programming, tooling, and tool design documentation.
Manages capital equipment requisitions, ensuring competitive cost, process fulfillment, and quality needs are satisfied.
Supports new product development to ensure manufacturability, cost, and quality from design concept to production release.
Manages shop floor tooling and facility operating expenses.
Assist and support plant and facility maintenance and improvements.
Serve as a player-coach by executing hands-on manufacturing engineering tasks in addition to supervisory responsibilities.
Manage the design/build of tooling and fixtures to support production and launch new parts in production.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
10 years' experience in an Engineering/Operations environment with 3-5 years in a Managerial position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are a necessity.
Ability to provide and give work direction within the department and communicate with all aspects/areas of the company.
Attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy.
General Office computer skills. Ability to understand and navigate in Excel - ability to analyze large amounts of data and combine data from multiple sources.

What You Will Do

Serve as ESSM’s primary interface to the NATO Sea Sparrow Project Office (NSPO) Test & Evaluation community.

Negotiate and balance priorities among multiple contracted efforts and customers while ensuring on-time delivery and execution.
Primary responsible for schedule and cost execution of multiple CLINs within Design Agent contract. This includes direct Cost Account Management (CAM) responsibilities as well as delegation of CAM responsibilities to members within team.
Support Agile ceremonies such as Increment Planning, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospectives and work closely with Agile Release Train Engineer (RTE) to ensure the team’s backlog is prioritized, well defined with acceptance criteria, and executable to achieve the program goals and contractual deliveries.
Own and define team’s vision and execution strategy to achieve program goals and contractual deliveries while managing dependencies across functional organizations to ensure on-time contractual deliveries.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
