The Impact:

This role will work with Corporate Technology Finance & Investment Management line of business delivery teams, engineers, application operations, product managers, and enterprise stakeholders to help deliver innovative, data-driven systems aimed at transforming the insurance industry. As part of the application architecture team, incumbents may be responsible for any of the following:

  • Technical evaluations and benchmarking of core application platforms, frameworks and technologies
  • Specification and publication of standards around application design and software engineering best practices
  • Thought leadership and active participation in conferences and research with strategic partners and academic institutions
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop and maintain the Technology strategies & roadmap
  • Partner with business executives and senior architects to identify data and process issues, then provide solution options and recommends options
  • Provide recommendations on system options, risks, cost/benefit analysis, and impact on cross-domain systems, business strategy, goals and processes
  • Engage in SA problem solving, snapshots and full architecture documents
  • Actively publish deliverables, and utilizes multi-media to educate and engage with federated solution architecture community members

The Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related Technical degree
  • 8+ years of related IT Solutions Architecture or Technical Lead experience

The Ideal Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related IT Architecture or IT consulting experience
  • 5 years of Investment Management and/or Finance experience
  • Emerging Technologies in Investment Management including AI/ML
  • Experience with IM Platforms: Eagle, Aladdin, Calypso, Murex or similar
  • Experience in data management platform design and integrations, ABOR/IBOR data layer, data modeling for IM domain, data framework adoption, mastering solution design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, influencing and reasoning skills
  • A team-focused mentality with proven ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Developed acumen in Domain Driven Design
  • Strong experience with event streaming design and implementation using Kafka, along with web service protocols and patterns like SOAP, REST, JSON, XML/XSDs.

Working closely with MassMutual business partners, you'll help design and implement solutions that address unique security challenges, streamline incident response, and automate critical workflows. The Impact:

This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in advancing our enterprise's centralized logging and SOAR capabilities. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing centralized logging tools, data pipeline, and SOAR platforms at scale, ensuring robust visibility and rapid response across the organization. In addition, you will be working with internal customers and key stakeholders such as the Security Operations Center to onboard logs, manipulate data, create playbooks, write scripts, and configure integrations.

The Minimum Qualifications

The Heat Treat Equipment, Systems, and Process Manager supports all U.S. Tsubaki heat treat operations. Responsibilities of this position includes site assessments and ongoing audits of all UST heat treat equipment, processes and environments with the goal of identifying, recommending, developing, and implementing best practices to positively influence all Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost KPIs. Expectations also include leading the ongoing development and implementation of process improvements, manufacturing launches of all products, root cause investigations of any associated failures, and associated training programs, (materials, documentation, modules, etc.). This position requires a hands on approach with the capability to operate heat treat equipment, diagnose unsafe furnace conditions and actively support and teach best operating practices across all heat treat operations.

  • Identify safety improvements and drive risk mitigation initiatives. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain systems for production control, standard operating procedures, safety, quality control, and training.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or Metallurgy required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5–10 years of manufacturing experience specializing in heat treating equipment and processes. Automotive industry experience is favorable.
  • Strong working knowledge of the functionality and operation of a variety of heat treating equipment. 
  • Practical, hands on experience with heat treating processes including carburizing, carbonitriding, induction hardening, and associated metallurgical principles. 
  • Ability to diagnose equipment issues and assist in correcting unsafe furnace or heat treating conditions. 
  • Metallurgy education or experience required. 
  • Manufacturing experience in a metalworking environment required. 
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and project management skills, including the ability to work directly on the production floor. 
  • Knowledge of material science, thermodynamics, CAD (SolidWorks), and data analysis (Minitab, Excel).
