ARM Group LLC is looking for a self-driven and energetic Staff Engineer who is looking to grow and embodies an ownership mentality. The Staff Engineer will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined engineers and scientists, project managers, CAD designers, and other staff to service our client’s needs. This role will support a wide range of projects related to our Energy & Power practice area in the areas of erosion and sediment control design, stormwater management design, and land development engineering.

The successful candidate will assist in performing engineering calculations, writing reports, and creating/updating design drawings using CAD and assist with client and regulator communications. This role may also support our solid waste management, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, oil and gas, water resources, and construction administration practice areas.

Location: This position can be filled in our Hershey, PA office.

Requirements

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports for commercial/industrial and utility scale solar projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
• Observe and monitor field work to analyze possible problems.
• Perform and/or check technical calculations related to erosion and sediment control design, stormwater management design, and related land development engineering.
• Research code, zoning, ordinances, and other requirements as needed to ensure project compliance.
• Prepare reports, letters, emails, permit applications, etc. for projects.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on project and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
• Effectively communicate with key stake holders including project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
• Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.

Base Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering (Civil or Environmental) from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D or equivalent engineering software.
• A self-starter possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
• Desire to work on multiple projects in parallel rather than a single large project for months.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Requires travel to job sites and occasionally out of the local area overnight stay.
• Valid drivers license

Preferred Requirements:

• E.I.T. certification preferred, but the opportunity to obtain certification can be developed.

Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

We are looking for an experienced leader in experimentation methodology to join our core Applied ML team. The Applied AI and Machine Learning team handles large-scale data to support many business areas. We develop a cohesive navigation experience across channels and web pages. Our goal is to simplify and improve the shopping experience for everyday entrepreneurs worldwide, helping them quickly find what they need on our website.

In this leadership role, you will enhance the strategic direction of our experimentation methodology efforts. You will use simulations and reinforcement learning, ensuring consistency with business objectives, and supporting cross-functional teams in data-informed experimentation solutions. You will guide teams working at the intersection of large-scale foundation models, multi-agent systems, and RL-based optimization, encouraging a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.

What you'll get to do...

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for AI driven experimentation methodology, aligning initiatives with organizational goals and business impact
• Supervise and mentor teams of scientists and engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
• Promote meticulous experimentation, including the development of simulation environments and robust evaluation frameworks using machine learning and RL
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate research outcomes into scalable, production-ready experimentation solutions
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and cultivate a collaborative, innovative environment across the Applied ML team and broader organization

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals
• 5+ years of professional experience in experimentation methodology, Reinforcement Learning, and software development 
• 2 + years of professional with experimentation platforms, data pipelines, and analytical tools to guide methodological rigor
• A deep understanding of statistical principles, causal inference, and experimental design for large-scale digital products
• A track record of partnering effectively with experimentation platform teams, product managers, and business stakeholders to drive data-informed decision-making
• 5+ years of professional experience translating complex statistical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
