Position Summary
The Process Engineer plays a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving equipment efficiency, and enhancing product quality. This position drives Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, leads process development projects, and supports automation, robotics, and continuous improvement across the plant.
This is a high-impact role supporting steel tub, shower base, and porcelain enamel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve manufacturing processes for steel tubs and shower bases (drawing, trimming, assembly, packaging).
- Enhance porcelain enamel production processes (stamping, assembly, enameling, urethane coatings).
- Lead cost-savings, productivity, and throughput improvement projects.
- Optimize and train operators on Fanuc robotic pendant programming.
- Apply Lean, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma methods to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Support new product introduction and transitions into stable manufacturing.
- Maintain quality standards, procedures, CTQs, and documentation.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and nonconforming materials.
- Execute capital projects from concept through implementation.
- Analyze quality and production data to identify trends and performance opportunities.
- Work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve workflow and operational performance.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Experience improving manufacturing processes in a production environment.
- Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools (Yellow or Green Belt preferred).
- Hands-on robotic programming experience (Fanuc strongly preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret production and quality data.

Our growing industrial manufacturing client is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer who is skilled in Reliability programs. Your goal will be to manage and improve the plant's Predictive Maintenance & Reliability programs. Your goal is to use a variety of testing technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, measurements of sound levels, oil analysis, corona detection & others to identify potential maintenance problems and create, implement, and manage strategic plans that will maximize equipment use.
As the Reliability Engineer, you'll use Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), PPM optimization, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes as well as vibration, infrared, oil and ultrasonic analysis to identify problems. Working with the maintenance & engineering staff to identify solutions, you'll develop a plan for equipment repair and set standards and create needed schedules for repairs.
You'll be the coach & mentor to other engineers & maintenance staff who will look to you to provide technical expertise & engineering support. Your focus is solving problems and getting everyone on board with the solution.
You'll need to be a good communicator as you'll be working with a diverse group of employees and contractors. Minimum requirements for this Reliability Engineering position:
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 3 years' experience in a Reliability role in a manufacturing facility

The Role

Operational & Administrative Leadership
- Monitor maintenance spending and drive cost control within the maintenance department.

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience with 2+ years supervising or leading maintenance personnel.
