Compensation:
- The cash compensation range for this role is $180,000 - $235,000
- Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications. In addition to cash compensation, all employees receive an equity compensation package.

Eikon Therapeutics is a new biopharmaceutical company employing revolutionary technology at the intersection of chemistry, engineering, computation, and biology to discover novel treatments for life-threatening diseases. Eikon's discovery platform is built on groundbreaking innovations from its founders (Nobel Prize, 2014), culminating in the creation of microscopes which enable real time, molecular-resolution measurements of protein movement in living cells, thereby unlocking otherwise intractable classes of proteins as drug targets.
The Director Study Site Engagement & Monitoring Excellence will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Eikon's global trial site engagement strategy, including oversight and accountability for all internal/external managed site monitoring activities to ensure predictable delivery of high-quality data and establish Eikon as a preferred sponsor for clinical sites. The Director will ensure effective collaboration with clinical study teams, and Functional Service Provider (FSP) partners, to implement excellent site relationship management and site monitoring activities to accelerate operational excellent delivery of Eikon's clinical programs. This role will require a minimum of 3 days a week of onsite presence (or more as business needs require) in either of our California or New Jersey offices to ensure effective management, operational excellence and high-performance delivery of clinical studies and to support the expected significant team growth & collaboration.

Strategic Leadership
- Define and implement site engagement strategies to improve relationships
- Support the build of new partnerships and networks
- Support high quality monitoring approaches and ensure alignment with regulatory standards
- Serve as liaison between clinical study teams and investigative sites
Operational Support
- Provide guidance, oversight and training to the study site engagement team, including CRA site monitors, whether insourced or outsourced suppliers, to maximize effectiveness and acceleration in Eikon's operational execution of clinical research.
- Develop and maintain appropriate performance standards, processes and documentation for harmonized site engagement and monitoring support across Eikon's clinical programs.
- Maintain regular information exchange within the study site engagement team, identify common elements of study support across regions/countries to codify and apply lessons learned, troubleshoot issues and distribute acquired site intelligence to Clinical Operations study teams and Clinical Development stakeholders as required.
- Oversee resource and talent management of site engagement team, including CRA monitors, whether insourced or via outsourced suppliers, across relevant regional/country clusters to maintain quality of monitoring that deliver and achieve Clinical Operations study team goals.
- Accountable for overall oversight and training of FSP, study site engagement and CRAs by country/region, including identifying and managing CRA performance issues. Responsible for ensuring associated corrective and preventative actions are put in place, and that ICH GCP compliance, regulatory, quality and timeline objectives are met for all trials executed globally.
- Responsible for site and monitoring quality using interpretive signals in conjunction with local country intelligence to proactively identify risks. Lead risk assessment at the site/country level for designated studies, including identification of mitigation and control. Maintain knowledge of appropriate tools and resources (e.g., metrics, site health, Risk Based Monitoring signals, etc.) and demonstrate use of data to enhance quality and accelerate study delivery. Track site engagement metrics and satisfaction scores.
- Demonstrate a learning culture by ensuring site quality and trends, including preventative actions are shared across study & assets in the clinical programs to drive accelerated drug delivery.
- Be the point of escalation for issues that arise in site engagement, escalating as necessary and keeping the relevant Clinical Operations study team informed of escalation and resolution. Effectively solve problems and use judgment relating to national and international regulations, guidelines, investigator interactions and timelines.
- Manage functional budget, including resource projections, capacity assessment and vendor (e.g., FSP) oversight and evaluation, to ensure adequate and appropriate resourcing for Eikon's clinical trial portfolio.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Align with global Clinical Development stakeholders to ensure strategy and approach for clinical programs and studies is appropriate to meet study goals while incorporating study engagement team, including CRA monitors.
- Contribute to ongoing department infrastructure development efforts such as SOP development, implementation and/or innovation of new processes and clinical system capabilities to consistently deliver operational excellence.
- Collaborate with Clinical Development leadership to partner on important projects and stay current with relevant industry trends and innovations to ensure best practices in study site engagement are applied across Eikon.
- Serve as a talent magnet and develop, coach, and retain top talent in the team. Set clear performance standards and holds self and organization accountable for achieving results. Embraces metrics and performance standards (KPIs).
Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree with 10+ years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related discipline.
- Significant management experience in oncology clinical trial setting with the ability to effectively collaborate with different Clinical R&D stakeholders in a matrix organization. Management expertise should cover management of budget, resources, headcount, processes (and controls), productivity, quality and project delivery.
- A complete understanding of ICH GCP and global/regional regulatory requirements is required.
- Strong communication skills requiring proficiency in written and spoken English. The incumbent must be competent and effective in written and verbal communication. Skills in more than one language are an advantage in this role.

About The RoleThere is a lot that we're building at Headway, but ensuring that our underlying systems behind our insurance platform reliably power patient, provider, and payer (insurance customer) experiences is mission critical in our efforts to make mental healthcare more accessible and affordable for everyone. As Head Of Engineering for the Platform Group (also know as our Insurance Group), you'll be the first hire in a new altitude of leadership, inheriting a strong, growing set of engineering pods that deliver critical systems behind benefits and eligibility services, claims, billing infrastructure, payments, and customer support tooling. Your mandate will be to guide and scale this group as Headway grows, ensuring it continues to deliver reliable, secure, and high-impact technology at scale.
Reporting to Headway's CTO, you'll be a senior leader within our rapidly growing Engineering Org, responsible for strategic planning, organizational design, and talent development. You'll set the technical vision and operating model for the group, ensuring our systems evolve to meet the complexity and growth of our marketplace. You'll be responsible for enabling experiments, accelerating development velocity, and scaling infrastructure that supports one of the most important dimensions of our business: making insurance work seamlessly for providers, patients, and payers.
Your teams will be highly cross-functional, partnering closely with other engineering, product, design, data, customer success, growth, clinical, and other functions to understand the needs of our insurance partners and deliver solutions that redefine how mental healthcare integrates with the broader healthcare ecosystem.

- Build the vision and roadmap for the next chapter of our Insurance Engineering group, driving company-level objectives and powering best-in-class provider, patient, and payer experiences
- Contribute to the broader company strategy and technical roadmap as a member of the engineering leadership team
- Partner with senior leaders across product, business, data, design, clinical, legal, and compliance to ensure alignment on strategic goals and execution against highly impactful OKRs and KPIs
- Lead and scale multiple engineering pods, ensuring process, architectural, and product alignment across the group
- Develop and grow your managers and team of teams through mentorship, feedback, and career development frameworks
- Recruit and build diverse, high-performing engineering teams that thrive on collaboration and technical excellence
- Shape engineering culture, process, and operating norms as Headway grows from 150 to 250+ engineers in the coming year
- You have 8+ years of experience as an engineering leader, including managing engineering directors/managers, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing organizations that deliver business impact through technical innovation
- You have previous experience as a Software Engineer, and a strong technical foundation that allows you to guide and challenge technical decisions
- You are able to see things at a 300-ft view, while also diving deep into highly technical challenges that affect scale, reliability, and user experience
- You have a strong product mindset, having built cross-functional relationships that build trust and enable great user experiences
- You have a passion for building resilient, scalable platforms that unlock growth in new product areas
- It's a nice to have if you've had experience in health tech or with complex platform domains such as insurance, payments, or billing
- BS, MS in Computer Science or related field

The expected base pay range for this position is $312,000 - $390,000, based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.

About the Role
The General Counsel is the head of Syncarpha Capital’s legal department and is responsible for all legal affairs of the company, including, but not limited to, transactional, governance, and compliance matters. This role involves providing legal counsel to all departments within the organization. In managing the legal department, the General Counsel will have direct reports and will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Syncarpha’s legal risk and cost across all aspects of our business - development, construction and permanent financing, tax equity investment/sale of Investment Tax Credits, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), asset management, human resources, and compliance - while executing our business strategy.
- Develop, implement, and manage Syncarpha’s compliance program.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and close contracts, including:
- Real estate: lease and purchase options and closings, title insurance policies, etc.
- Project finance documentation
- Entity formation and tax equity investment
- EPC: turnkey EPC, equipment procurement, engineering services, etc.
- Wide array of supporting services agreements to our business: engineering, general consulting, framework agreements, etc.
- Provide strategic insight and guidance to Senior Management team.
- Grow and manage Syncarpha’s legal department.
- Implement and manage Syncarpha’s standard contract language into our contracts in high-risk areas of: human rights, business integrity, etc.
- Engage and manage outside counsel for additional legal support with a cost effective and risk mitigated approach (e.g., M&A, real estate, permitting).
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an American Bar Association accredited law school
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
- Member of the New York State Bar, or member in good standing of the State Bar of another state.
- Strong track record of managing attorneys and legal staff.
- Prior General Counsel in-house role experience preferred.
- Proven experience in (i) construction law and project finance, preferable in each instance in the solar energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of power generation, land permitting, power purchase agreements, letters of intent, requests for proposals, and liability issues in an electrical construction environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet and PowerPoint.
- Ability to communicate across a broad spectrum of technical understanding - written, verbal and non-verbal.
