Job Summary


The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for leading and integrating all non-production support functions that are essential to the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of the plant. This role has direct ownership of site-level performance in quality, safety, engineering, processing, mix operations, and tooling. The Manufacturing Manager partners closely with production leadership to drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory and corporate compliance, and support operational excellence across all manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities


  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to site-level quality, safety, engineering, processing, mix, and tooling teams
  • Ensure alignment with corporate policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain systems that support product quality, workplace safety, and process capability
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability across all support functions
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective and preventative actions for quality and safety incidents
  • Oversee the development and control of mix formulations, process parameters, and tooling readiness to support production needs
  • Support the introduction of new products, processes, and technologies, ensuring smooth integration into existing operations
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment and tooling are optimized for performance, reliability, and safety
  • Identify and implement processing improvements to reduce waste, improve product quality, and enhance workplace safety
  • Lead or support kaizen events, value stream mapping, and other lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive data-based decision-making across support functions
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain audit readiness and lead internal and external audits related to quality, safety, and environmental compliance
  • Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies to reduce operational, environmental, and safety risks
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through training, engagement, and visible leadership


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing or collaborating with quality, safety and engineering functions
  • Strong knowledge or lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma tools, and quality management systems
  • Familiarity with OSHA and other regulatory frameworks
  • Effective leadership, coaching, and team development skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)

The Safety & Risk Management Intern will support the Safety & Risk Management Department in the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of safety and risk management programs across field and office operations.   • A/R processed in accordance with client requirements.
  • Receivables maintained under 60 days.
  • Ensure budgeted profitability is achieved on every project by collaborating with field operations. Field Production Report to be updated on a daily basis and reviewed/validated with field operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Project procurement is submitted, approved, and completed in accordance with the project schedules and sequencing to ensure materials and subcontractors are available at the project site as needed by the field operations team.
  • Developing, maintaining, and cascading the project schedule to field operations and subcontractor(s). Ensure F&B activities are in compliance with the overall project schedule and validated with field operations. Resolve all scheduling conflicts with the customer.
  • Complete the Job Progress Report (JPR) process monthly.
  • Review Project Daily Log on each project daily for accuracy and completeness. Communicate concerns to the project teams and field operations.
  • Work closely with the General Superintendent and Equipment Director to ensure equipment usage does not exceed the budget.

  • Communicate and collaborate with field operations on each project daily.
  • Lead, coach and develop PE’s and APM’s. Perform regular check-ins with them to ensure that developmental concerns are addressed and appropriate training is provided.
  • Perform project document process and control. Project documents include drawings, specifications, submittals, and RFI’s.
  • Review project safety requirements and collaborate with Regional Safety Manager to ensure that plan documents are updated and implemented with field operations at project start-up.
  • Secure all licensing and permits required for the project prior to starting the job and in accordance with all local state and municipal laws.
  • Secure all liability insurance, OCIP and/or CCIP prior to the start of the project according to contractual requirements and in line with F&B standard practices.
  • Secure all bonding according to the contract requirements and in line with F&B standard practices.
  • Communicating and upholding the Company’s commitment to Integrity and Code of Ethics, as well as ensuring the same for the entire team.
  • Other relevant tasks as assigned.


Education, Experience & Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred, or equivalent in training and experience.
  • At least five (5) years of relatable construction experience.

Having an interest in larger commercial vehicles and diesel engines recommended Must hold a valid driver’s license Team oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.
