What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Lead Custom Manufacturing Projects

• Manage projects involving custom millwork, woodworking, fabricated metal components, and retail fixtures.
• Develop and manage project schedules using Microsoft Project to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, and installation teams.

Work Directly With Customers

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure expectations, timelines, and deliverables are clearly defined and executed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage Drawings, Production & Project Execution

• Coordinate engineering drawings, approvals, and production documentation.
• Ensure shop teams have the correct materials, finishes, and production specifications.
• Align manufacturing and installation teams to ensure projects stay on schedule.

Manage Project Scope & Changes

• Handle change orders, revised purchase orders, and project revisions.
• Prepare cost estimates and project quotations when required.
• Track project progress, materials usage, and labor to maintain profitability.

Drive Continuous Improvement

• Participate in post-project reviews with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, project execution, and cost performance.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking Project Managers who understand the manufacturing side of building custom environments and physical products.

Ideal Background Includes Experience With:

• Commercial Custom millwork or woodworking manufacturing

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial manufacturing, millwork, construction, or fabrication environments

Job Description:

This role is for an opening for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) on the Manheim Logistics SRE team. The SRE team is tasked with designing and maintaining AWS infrastructure and deployment pipelines for Manheim Logistics’ 15+ development teams. The team has currently standardized on a Docker-based infrastructure solution and is adding functionality to support new development team requests and architectural patterns (such as Lambda, Step Functions, Fargate, etc). The SRE team has a strong focus on IaC with Terraform and best practices such as least privilege access, proactive monitoring and alerting, etc. This role will work directly with a release train and help with IaC and SRE activites such as improving monitoring/alerting, defining an error budget, assisting with DevSecOps, etc.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer you will:

Strong automation experience- testing, deploying, monitoring, etc.

Take complex problems and come up with a technically reasonable solution

Experience working with and defining SLOs, error budgets, etc.

Have innate curiosity about how things work

Design and assist in the authoring of software tools that reliably manage application delivery & performance

Design and assist in the setup and maintenance of application monitoring and alerting

Engage with engineering teams to ensure best practices are implemented

Improve predictability and reliability of software releases, workflows, and operating software.

Reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR) by helping troubleshoot, monitor, alert, and automating recovery.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 3-5 years working experience

Location Details: Remote - United States

At GoDaddy, the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days), and some work entirely remotely.

This is a remote position, so you'll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.

GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

The GoCaaS (GoDaddy Content As A Service) team powers GoDaddy's generative AI platform. We enable internal teams to securely build, deploy, and scale AI capabilities across the company—driving innovation, productivity, and customer impact. Our platform supports 100+ large language models across multiple vendors (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, AWS) with 99.99% uptime, serving thousands of employees and dozens of teams.

What you'll get to do...

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team delivering critical AI platform capabilities while mentoring engineers to deliver quality software efficiently.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, and engineering leaders) to define and execute the GoCaaS roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Drive platform excellence by ensuring reliability, scalability, and optimal developer experience for internal AI consumers.
• Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, and secure software development across the organization.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams (security, data, infrastructure) to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions while fostering a culture of experimentation and technical excellence.

Your experience should include...

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in engineering management or tech lead roles.
• Proven leadership of backend/platform teams delivering production-scale services.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems expertise.
• Hands-on programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js with CI/CD and observability experience.
• Leadership and project management abilities, including stakeholder management and cross-functional project delivery.

You might also have...

• AI/ML Infrastructure Experience - Working with LLMs, RAG systems, or broader AI/ML infrastructure.
• Container Orchestration - Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Security & Privacy - Experience with secure data handling and privacy frameworks.
• Developer Platform Background - Experience building internal tooling or developer platforms.
• Leadership & Community Engagement - Passion for team building, mentoring engineers, and contributing to open-source initiatives.
