We are looking for a RAN Wireless SME with deep expertise in 4G/5G technologies to support product development, system design, and customer-facing technical engagements. This is a high-impact role working closely with OEM teams and carriers to drive next-gen wireless solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into system and feature requirements
• Perform 4G/5G protocol analysis and troubleshooting (Lab & Field – IODT focus)
• Lead performance analysis, feature validation, and new technology introduction (virtualized networks)
• Support pre-sales activities with technical solutions and customer presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HQ, logistics, engineering) for product rollouts
• Conduct deep-dive sessions with customers and provide technical guidance

Must-Have Skills

• 12+ years of wireless telecom experience
• Strong expertise in RAN (4G LTE & 5G NR) and call processing
• Deep understanding of 3GPP protocols (PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC, PDCP)
• Experience with IODT testing, log analysis, and troubleshooting
• Hands-on with tools like QXDM, XCAL, Wireshark, Channel Emulator
• Knowledge of Massive MIMO, Beamforming, LTE-NR interworking
• Strong communication skills for customer-facing engagements

• Experience with 3GPP Rel-15/16
• Exposure to SW/HW architecture

Role: Senior Principal Engineer

Description

The Senior Principal Engineer provides technical thought leadership and hands-on execution in securing Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified (CASE) mobility solutions and digital services. This role focuses on end-to-end (E2E) vehicle ecosystem security, including embedded systems, cloud platforms, and mobile applications, ensuring privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles are embedded throughout.

Essential Functions:

•Product cybersecurity technical thought leadership in the research, design, development, manufacturing, and/or operations of the Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electrified mobility solutions and digital services.

•Creation & facilitation of automotive threat analysis and risk assessment (TARA) for the end-to-end (E2E) vehicle ecosystem (embedded, cloud, mobile app).

•Individual contributor executing the roles and responsibilities of an engineering technical lead across multiple projects, processes, and teams. Support activities include:

•Working with stakeholders to understand timeline, input/output, dependencies, etc.

•Technical experience to understand any "impediments" the team may experience

•Work with external stakeholders to remove "impediments" from the team

•Hands-on work to complete TARA, system requirements, system reference architectures for E2E vehicle ecosystem

•Creation & facilitation of technical reference architectures to quickly enable biz divisions to implement solutions that align w/ privacy-by-design & security-by-design.

•Execute the roles and responsibilities of an individual contributor across multiple projects and teams independently with very little oversight required.

•Liaise with line of business leaders and general other risk functions to deliver program needs within business units.

Requirements:

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is strongly desired.

•8+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with an emphasis on cybersecurity expertise with identifying risks & designing countermeasures for embedded systems, cloud systems, and mobile app.

•4+ years of experience in automotive, manufacturing, internet of things (IOT), and/or software industries

•Systems, hardware, and/or software engineering and cybersecurity subject matter expert with hands-on engineering development and technical leadership experience.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts and recommendations to technical peers and management.

•Strong technical competence in MS tool suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

•Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking) for business and technical discussions

Preferred Skills:

•OSCP, SANS/GIAC, CISSP, or other related/equivalent certification

•Experience with compliance regulations/laws, security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, NIST, HIPAA, ISO, COBIT, OWASP, ITIL, etc.)

•Experience with one or more of the following industries: law enforcement, defense, intelligence community, automotive, manufacturing, software.

Summary:

The Manager of Operations Analytics & Program Controls leads a team of analysts responsible for delivering data-driven insights that inform strategic decisions and optimize operational performance. This role oversees and performs the development of advanced analytical models, reporting frameworks, and process improvement initiatives. The Manager ensures alignment between business objectives and analytical outputs, fosters collaboration across departments, and drives innovation in data utilization to enhance efficiency and identify growth opportunities. Provides strategic oversight and operational support to ensure the reliable and timely delivery of services and projects within the Operating Budget and Five-Year Capital Plan. This role is responsible for developing and managing operating and capital budgets, monitoring project performance, and ensuring compliance with organizational standards. Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline; alternatively, a minimum of six years of related work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, operations, or business intelligence, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• 5–7 years of program and project controls experience.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
• Strong ability to collaborate across all organizational levels to resolve complex issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and boards.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, actionable business terms.
• Experience preparing Board actions and audit responses.
• Experience working in cloud environments with data lakes, data warehouses and databases.

Preferred:

• Master's degree in Analytics, Data Science, or Business Administration.
• Experience with enterprise data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).

• 3+ years of professional experience managing and leading high-performing teams, including mentoring and coaching team member to achieve organizational goals

Location Details: Remote - United States

At GoDaddy, the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days), and some work entirely remotely.

What you'll get to do...

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team delivering critical AI platform capabilities while mentoring engineers to deliver quality software efficiently.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (product, design, and engineering leaders) to define and execute the GoCaaS roadmap and strategic initiatives.
• Drive platform excellence by ensuring reliability, scalability, and optimal developer experience for internal AI consumers.
• Champion engineering best practices, including CI/CD, observability, and secure software development across the organization.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams (security, data, infrastructure) to deliver enterprise-grade AI solutions while fostering a culture of experimentation and technical excellence.

Your experience should include...

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with at least 2 years in engineering management or tech lead roles.
• Proven leadership of backend/platform teams delivering production-scale services.
• Strong cloud infrastructure knowledge (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and distributed systems expertise.
• Hands-on programming skills in Python, Go, or Node.js with CI/CD and observability experience.
• Leadership and project management abilities, including stakeholder management and cross-functional project delivery.
