Performs the in-process and final inspection of products used in airframe and missile manufacturing. Analyze engineering blueprints, process specifications, shop travelers and manufacturing planning documents to determine nature and extent of inspection requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines most practical inspection method and technique; plans sequence of operation; selects precision measuring instruments and equipment to dimensionally inspect units. Performs surface table inspections using standard positioning, measuring and layout instruments and equipment. Uses shop mathematics, decimals and fractions in the performance of the work noted herein.
- Conducts first article, receiving inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection assignments; visually and dimensionally inspects a wide variety of airframes parts and aerospace assemblies/components.
- Witness's first piece part production and certifies acceptability; observes and performs in-process inspection during component build-up and sub-assembly stages; performs final assembly inspection and observes testing operations to assure quality, workmanship and strict compliance with Arrowhead, military space and commercial specifications and standards.
- Inspects incoming metallic and fiber materials, plastic and rubber compounds for correct formulation call- out, serialization, identification, cure date and shelf life; verifies vendor and material certifications; checks heat codes, batch and lot numbers to assure product tractability; certifies the proper mixing and blending of bonding agents and adhesives. Inspects reinforced plastic and rubber products for delaminating, blisters, porosity, bond, elasticity, gauge surface smoothness and similar defects or characteristics. Checks configuration and part dimensions with or without the aid of assembly check gauges, fixtures and tooling. Prepares shipping data package for non-metal (soft goods) components/assemblies in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitors oven and cure processes and records temperature readings and dwell time; performs or observes pressurization and leak test using plant air, nitrogen and helium.
- Prepare rework tags, inspection reports and documentation. Coordinates rejection with MRB, engineering and customer representatives for depositions and process refinement. Assembles end item documentation for the review and acceptance of finished products. Prepares and maintains history files, records and reports.

Education and Experience
- Requires High School degree or GED. Related AA or trade school degree preferred.
- Requires 2+ years of related Quality Assurance inspection experience. Experience must include interface with customer source representatives, government sources, internal departments and senior management.

The Director of Manufacturing will lead the production, planning, quality inspection and inventory control teams and work with the test and engineering teams for successful LRIP (Low-Rate Initial Production) of our Subsurface Compressor Systems; perform cost reduction; improve productivity, ensure quality builds; and ensure deliveries are made on time.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct the manufacturing team to meet delivery commitments.

Summary
Talley LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Collections Administrative Support professional to strengthen our billing team and ensure accurate, timely invoicing in a professional-services environment. You will prepare invoices for consulting, advisory, and tax engagements, liaise with clients regarding billing matters, and support collections efforts.
This is a full-time onsite position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with additional hours required during month-end billing close.
What You Will Do
Billing (Primary Focus)
- Independently prepare, review, and issue invoices for professional-services engagements (consulting, tax, and advisory) using Practice CS after in-house training.
- Verify billable hours, fixed-fee arrangements, and retainer schedules; resolve discrepancies before release.
- Collaborate with client-service teams and Partners to capture all billable items and ensure compliance with firm pricing policies.
- Assist with monthly invoice audits, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.
- Uphold Talley’s billing best practices and proactively identify process improvements.
Collections
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices via email and phone.
- Negotiate payment plans when necessary and document collection activities.
- Escalate complex issues to client-service managers or Partners.
Client Communication
- Serve as a courteous and professional point of contact for client billing inquiries.
- Provide supporting documentation promptly and coordinate internally to resolve concerns.
Data Management
- Maintain up-to-date client billing records and electronic files.
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience generating invoices for a professional-services firm (e.g., accounting, law, consulting, engineering, or marketing agency).
- Working knowledge of Practice CS, QuickBooks, or comparable billing platforms.
- Reliability and initiative to meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end close.
- Analytical mindset to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong ethical standards when handling sensitive financial data.
- Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and client-centric attitude.
Hours & Compensation
- Full-time schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Month-end billing close may require additional hours.
