• Weld with a high degree of proficiency, experience and knowledge, able to meet various codes and specifications including AWS, ASME, and NAVSEA
  
• Know, qualify and perform the following: MIG: carbon steels, stainless steel, and aluminum and combination; TIG: carbon steels, stainless steel, aluminum, and combination
  
• Perform material preparation, open set-up and fit to meet process requirements proficiently in all required operations
  
• Read blueprints, weld symbols and NDE symbols and interpret acceptance criteria
  
• Coordinate effective communication regarding production processes with other departments such as Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and Sales
  
• Accurately perform visual inspection of weldments to confirm compliance to various codes and standards
  
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance on all equipment
  
• Share technical requirements, techniques, safety information, etc. with peers
  
• If required, perform all aspects of inspection: in-process, final and source; allocate partial points - 3 points in-process - 3 points final - 4 points source
  

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in specialty area e.g. welding, tool making

Role: Tank Prep / Process Operator

You will perform a range of tasks in the production of a transformer, including:

• Reading and understanding Bills of Materials (BOMs), instructions and drawings.
• Inspection of tank and cover for defects
• Complete quality check of welded areas to meet manufacturing procedures and rework/repaint if required.
• Clean out all threads on tank and cover with tap/die and vacuum debris.
• Rotate cover and install and wire Current Transformers (CTs) per engineering design.
• Cut and install floor insulation and hardware before tanking.
• Cut insulation and install shunts on tank walls prior to tanking.
• Prep and install radiators after welding of cover.
• Move transformer and parts to and from weld booth as required.
• Assist in Final Assembly as needed.

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, drives, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and power distribution equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system failures to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

Job Title : Nuclear Engineer (Naval Reactors Engineer) Category / Component : Officer • Active Overview Design, regulate, and oversee the Navy's nuclear propulsion program, including reactor design, fleet operations, and eventual defueling and decommissioning of nuclear powered ships and submarines from Naval Reactors Headquarters and associated Department of Energy laboratories and shipyards.

Key Responsibilities Provide technical direction in areas such as reactor and fluid systems design, reactor physics, materials development, component design for steam generators, pumps, and valves, instrumentation and control for reactor and propulsion plants, testing and quality control, radiation shielding, and chemistry and radiological controls; review designs and analyses from laboratories, shipyards, and industry partners; coordinate with fleet units to ensure safe and reliable nuclear plant operation.
