Our Yellow Iron Diesel Mechanics perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment, primarily including yellow iron machinery, diesel heavy trucks and engines. The Technician or Mechanic is not only responsible for understanding maintenance and breakdown needs and initiating/ assigning necessary repairs, but also must be able to operate the machinery being repaired. At times, the Technician may be on call and required to assist with emergency breakdowns.

• Maintains advanced knowledge to diagnose and repair mechanical problems on heavy equipment (heavy equipment includes but not limited to: yellow iron machinery, tractor trailers, forklifts, and other diesel trucks)
• Performs repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services.
• Estimates time and material cost on vehicle repairs and requisition of new parts.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles.
• Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting part usage, and accounting for repair time.
• Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company safety protocols and OSHA standards.
• This position will have no direct reports, however they will work in collaboration with the other yellow iron diesel mechanic on staff, although on different shifts.
• Assists Sr. Technicians in the completion of project work.

Work Environment

• Potentially hazardous work environment with many moving parts and machinery; must be alert of surroundings at all times.
• Only during breakdowns will this position be required to enter transfer station loading/ dumping area.
• The Yellow Iron Diesel Technician/Mechanic may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent squatting and standing is required.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• A valid driver’s license is required. CDL a plus.
• At least 5 years of experience in job duties.
• Sanitation or construction industry experience a plus.
• Computer diagnostic experience as diesel technician a plus.
• Experience with troubleshooting/repairing DPF systems diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, CAT, Peterbilt, and Paccar.
• Working knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards and regulations.
• Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with colleagues, drivers and dispatch, and be able to make legible entries on reports and records.

The Level B Fleet Mechanic/Technician is a journeyman-level role responsible for independent diagnosis and repair of most mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on refuse trucks, heavy trucks/tractors, trailers, and heavy equipment. This role also mentors Level C technicians, supports road calls, and ensures high uptime and DOT compliance for the fleet.

• Diagnostics & Repair

  • Independently diagnose and repair:
    • Diesel and gasoline engines (intake, fuel, cooling, aftertreatment/emissions components).
    • Drivetrain components including clutches, transmissions, differentials, PTOs, and drive lines.
    • Air and hydraulic brake systems, ABS, and suspension components.
    • Hydraulic systems on refuse equipment (packer bodies, arms, cylinders, pumps, valves, and hose routing).
    • Electrical systems including starting/charging, multiplex wiring, sensors, and lighting.

   

  Preventive Maintenance & Compliance

  • Perform and sign off on DOT-compliant inspections and PMs, ensuring all safety-critical items are addressed and documented.
  • Accurately interpret and close out DVIR/eDVIR defects; communicate recurring defects to leadership for root-cause analysis.
  • Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software, service bulletins, and wiring schematics to troubleshoot complex issues.

   

  Road Calls & Operational Support

  • Respond to road calls and breakdowns throughout the NYC tri-state area; perform safe temporary or permanent repairs to return vehicles to service or coordinate towing as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and drivers on repair status and estimated completion times.

   

  Mentorship, Training & Documentation

  • Guide and mentor Level C technicians on best practices, safety, troubleshooting, and proper repair methods.
  • Complete work orders thoroughly, capturing complaint, cause, correction, labor hours, and parts used.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for PM compliance, repeat repair reduction, and parts standardization.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5+ years hands-on experience as a diesel, truck, or heavy equipment mechanic/technician, including diagnostics and major component replacement.
• Valid CDL Class B (or higher) with air brake endorsement strongly preferred to perform road tests and move equipment on public roads within NY/NJ/CT.
• Demonstrated proficiency with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience in refuse/solid waste, municipal, or LTL/heavy trucking fleet operating in urban environments preferred.
• ASE certifications in Medium/Heavy Truck (T series) or Truck Equipment (E series); working toward Master status preferred.
• Basic welding and cutting skills (MIG, stick, torch) for brackets, hangers, and minor body fabrication preferred.
• Familiarity with computerized fleet maintenance and parts inventory systems preferred.

Job Summary

The Controls Engineer is responsible for supporting the design, development, implementation, and improvement of automated manufacturing systems and controls across the production environment. This role is intended to complement the team’s already existing mechanical design strengths with deeper expertise in automation, controls, programming, and manufacturing system integration. We are currently looking for a Pipe Welder Shop to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The Welder is responsible for the prep, layout, tack, weld, test, complex pipe spools and complex piping systems to work packages, drawings, PI&Ds per ASME B31.1 and MIL TP278, to production schedule under the guidance of the shop superintendent.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform pipe welding with pipe fitting experience using knowledge of codes and specifications
  
• Reads and deciphers work packages, work scope, engineered drawings, and PI&Ds
  
• Works with the pipe shop group with a focus on quality, customer compliance, and schedule
  
• Assemble piping spools, weld, test, and assure all shop packages are complete, and work is compliant before presenting to QA
  
• Assures welding equipment is in good working condition and reports any malfunctions or maintenance needed
  
• Have all personal gear to perform pipe welding and fitting including welding gear, measuring devices, levels square, etc. maintained in good condition

• High school Graduate, related to Trade school and no less than 5 years work history/experience in this industry required
  
• Have experience in GTAW processes. Must qualify to Pipe in the 6-G position Per ASME Section IX using the GTAW process. Experience in structural welding using GMAW in various positions to AWS D1.1. Proven past welding qualification history is a plus
  
• Decipher welding symbols, reads, and follows work packages, drawings, PI&Ds, and blueprints
  
• Use various measuring equipment
  
• Full range of mechanical knowledge as well as the ability to fabricate and install piping on equipment as specified on drawings and PI&Ds

Summary:

The Head of Production (Sterile Injectables) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of sterile manufacturing operations. This role ensures compliance with cGMP regulations, drives operational excellence, and leads high-performing teams to achieve manufacturing objectives in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee all sterile manufacturing operations, including component preparation, formulation, compounding, aseptic filling, visual inspection, and packaging.
• Develop and implement production strategies to achieve manufacturing goals, supply commitments, and performance targets.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities adhere to cGMP regulations, internal quality systems, and regulatory requirements for sterile drug products.
• Maintain a continuous state of audit readiness and support regulatory inspections, internal audits, and customer audits.
• Lead and manage investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change control processes impacting production operations.
• Establish, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity to drive accountability and improvement.
• Champion operational excellence initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, reduce waste, and improve process reliability.
• Build, develop, and lead high-performing production teams, fostering a culture of compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8–15 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing operations within a regulated cGMP environment.
• 5–12 years of leadership experience in sterile or aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing settings.
• Proven experience overseeing operations such as formulation, compounding, aseptic filling, visual inspection, and/or packaging of pharmaceuticals.
• Strong knowledge of FDA cGMP regulations and regulatory expectations for sterile drug product manufacturing.
• Experience supporting regulatory inspections and maintaining audit-ready operations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead investigations, manage deviations, CAPAs, and change control activities.
• Proven leadership skills with experience developing and managing production teams in regulated environments.

Supply Chain & Project Coordinator- US Healthcare BU

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Issue purchase orders for materials and components based on production requirements and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Obtain supplier quotations and support vendor selection based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Track open purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain purchasing records and transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and supplier performance improvement.

Production Support

• Review material availability for upcoming production jobs.
• Assist with preparation and release of job travelers, work orders, and production documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure materials are picked and staged for production.
• Communicate potential material shortages or delivery delays to production teams.
• Work closely with production and warehouse teams on the shop floor to verify material availability and resolve shortages.
• Take ownership of material availability for assigned production orders to ensure manufacturing schedules are not impacted by supply chain issues.

Inventory Control

• Monitor inventory levels and support reorder planning to prevent shortages.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Support efforts to reduce excess or obsolete inventory and improve inventory turnover.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate end to end delivery of small-scale containment equipment, Pass Boxes, Glassware hoods, Ventilated Balance Enclosures.
• Serve as day-day contact for clients providing regular project status updates
• Review and submit documentation, General Arrangements, Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Participate in lessons learned reviews at project close-out and contribute to the knowledge base

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Accounting or related field preferred.

Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered.

Experience

1–4 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, manufacturing, or inventory control preferred.

Skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools, Microsoft Project (preferred).

• CNC Machinist capable of running both Lathes and Mills
• Candidate should be proficient in operating various machine/control configurations and have experience in the manufacture of tool and die parts.

• Setup tooling and specified cutters as required
• Perform simple programming changes and edits to maximize productivity, and read and interpret Engineering drawings
• Perform frequent checks of parts to ensure dimensional requirements are met
