Quality Control Manager Job Description: The Manager, Quality Control (QCM) is a mid-level management position that provides support to HITT’s Site Ops teams in the execution of HITT’s Quality Control Program (QCP) for larger more complex projects and across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the window and door industry, strong technical aptitude, and the ability to present value-driven solutions. You will be the face of Screenco in your region and a vital link between the customer and our operations, engineering, and product development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Manage and grow a multi-state sales territory with a focus on increasing market share and revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities with OEMs, window and door manufacturers, and fabricators.
  • Maintain regular contact with existing customers to strengthen relationships, drive retention, and understand evolving needs.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations, proposals, and product demos to
  • prospective and existing customers.

Territory Management

  • Create and execute a territory business plan aligned with corporate goals.
  • Track sales performance, forecast demand, and report on regional trends, pricing, and competitive activity.
  • Travel within the region 50–70% of the time to meet customers, attend trade events, and support installations or troubleshooting.

Customer Support & Technical Expertise

  • Provide technical product knowledge and guidance on Screenco’s full suite of screening systems.
  • Partner with inside sales, customer service, and engineering to resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Offer insights from the field to help guide product improvements and innovation.

Strategic Account Management

  • Maintain and grow strategic relationships with top accounts.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms in line with company policy.
  • Support the onboarding of new accounts and facilitate smooth transitions with internal departments.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the fenestration, building materials, or manufacturing industries.
  • Proven success in managing a large territory and building long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand fabrication, installation, and component integration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen with an ability to manage margins, quoting, and forecasting.

Preferred:

  • Experience selling to OEMs, window/door manufacturers, or screen fabrication companies.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite).
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field

Other Requirements:

  • Based in Texas but region also includes, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Nevada with easy access to major transportation routes.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport (occasional travel to Canada or industry events may be required).
