Position Responsibilities: Perform all functions related to tool fabrication, rework, and repair as required.
Obtain work orders from the team leader or supervisor, determining assignments based on schedule dates and tool availability.
Read work orders and blueprints to identify required tasks, tools, and equipment.
Develop plans for the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of tools.
Initiate and coordinate engineering change requests with internal support groups when necessary.

Access and utilize appropriate tool drawings, models, and specifications using available computing systems.

Move materials and equipment using Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and overhead cranes as needed.
Maintain accurate records of orders and coordinate tooling information with other shifts and departments.
Handle hazardous materials in compliance with Boeing procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Engage in continuous improvement practices to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency in tool and die work.
Use precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers and gauges, to ensure accuracy in fabrication and repairs.
Interface with customers and suppliers to incorporate changes or resolve functional and installation issues.
Submit completed jobs to Quality Assurance and assist inspectors in performing necessary checks or measurements.

Position Responsibilities:
Perform various duties using hand or power tools, including staking, filing, trimming, sawing, buffing, drilling, sanding, and filling to facilitate assigned tasks.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by sweeping, cleaning, and picking up materials and parts.

Apply identification numbers or letters (part marks) to parts, materials, or assemblies using various marking methods (e.g., steel, rubber, electro-etch).

Assist in the anodizing process by loading and unloading detail parts on/off the load bar and performing low-pressure tests on tubing.

Primary Responsibilities
• Create, verify, and revise Machine Control Data (MCD), tooling geometry, and setup documentation for multi-axis CNC machines (primarily 5-axis).
• Interpret engineering drawings, planning documentation, and manufacturing requirements to develop robust NC programs for aluminum and hard-metal parts.
• Develop multiple setups and operations for complex part geometries, ensuring fixturing, tooling, and machine selection support producibility and tolerances.

Required Skills
• 7+ years of NC programming experience for production machining or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Demonstrated experience programming 5-axis CNC machines for aerospace parts (aluminum and hard metals).
• Proficiency reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing documentation.
• Proficient in CATIA V5 NC programming.
• Proficient in NC simulation/verification tools such as Vericut.
• Ability to create clear setup documentation and operator instructions.
• Able to work 2nd shift schedule as specified.
• Contractor eligibility to work under the terms of the engagement.

• Prior experience creating custom fixtures and tooling for multi-setup machining operations
• Experience defining machining strategy and selecting appropriate machines and processes for part families.

If you are detail-oriented, possess strong technical skills, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to apply and be a part of our mission to deliver excellence in aviation.Position Responsibilities:Work from blueprints, templates, detail drawings, and verbal instructions to perform surface finish/conditioning on coordination holes in milled skins and spars.Use templates and jigs to properly position parts for subsequent finishing operations, including reaming, countersinking, and cold work.Scribe tooling locations and reference lines as specified in engineering drawings and specifications.Diagnose and correct any detected discrepancies in parts and processes.Check finished parts to ensure they meet quality requirements and specifications using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, trammels, probes).Use hand and power tools, including air motors, reamers, and cold-work guns, to perform finishing duties on machined parts.Operate ground-controlled handling equipment to load, unload, and move parts within the shop.Perform rework as required, including filing, scraping, sanding, grinding, and hand finishing to meet gauge tolerances.Locate points and holes from established reference lines or index points using prints, templates, and work orders.Perform visual and functional checks on tools and accessories, making necessary adjustments and ensuring they are in good condition.Access workload using online computer systems and assign work based on priority or Team Leader direction.Review Work Order (W/O) to determine work requirements and ensure prior operations are complete.Consult with supervisor/team lead and other sources (e.g., engineering, planning, inspection) to resolve problems.Call for inspection or use SI&A as required throughout the process, including checking hole sizes and inspecting countersinks.Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in an approved manner while maintaining personal and tool certifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
