Reporting Structure

Reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and develop production planners.
• Communicate staffing needs to the Plant Manager to determine the appropriate labor required to meet production requirements.
• Planning and scheduling production responsibilities
• Monitor production planner performance to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Review and assess employee performance and make the appropriate changes as required.

This is a highly technical, design-focused engineering role centered on the development of rigid plastic packaging solutions for a range of consumer and industrial applications. The Position:

• Design and develop rigid plastic packaging solutions from concept through to production

This is a mid-junior level position that requires hands-on experience with rigid thermoformed packaging design concepts with experience in sustainable food grade and/or consumer packaging technology and manufacturing methods. Responsibilities:

• Design food device packaging systems from initial concept through testing and production using CAD programs, particularly SolidWorks
