Job Title: IT Solution Architect – Supply Chain & Finance
Location: Remote (Candidates local to Corning, NY or Charlotte, NC preferred) (W2 Contract)
Work Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (EST)
Duration: 1 Year Contract (Extension Possible)
Travel: Up to 25% travel to Corning, NY (approx. one week/month based on project needs)

Position Summary
The IT Solution Architect for Supply Chain and Finance is responsible for designing, developing, and guiding implementation of enterprise technology solutions supporting financial and supply chain processes.
This role collaborates with business stakeholders and cross-functional IT teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational strategy. The architect drives operational excellence by shaping solution roadmaps, maintaining platform integrity, and enabling continuous improvement across finance and supply chain applications.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Develop end-to-end architectural designs aligned with business objectives.
- Assess existing applications and recommend modernization and integration strategies.
- Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
Business Partnership & Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Participate in cFIN review sessions and architecture discussions.
- Provide subject matter expertise on financial systems including OneStream and related platforms.
Technical Leadership & Support
- Act as technical lead for implementations, enhancements, and integrations.
- Resolve escalated issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Contribute to architecture standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with financial systems.
- Proven experience architecting solutions in enterprise finance and/or supply chain environments.
- Deep knowledge of financial platforms such as:
- OneStream
- SAP cFIN (Central Finance)
- Similar enterprise finance platforms
- Familiarity with SAP finance and supply chain modules.

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT: Electric arc, gas and inert gas welding equipment involving a considerable range of electrodes, wires, fluxes and other materials; hoods and other protective equipment; a considerable variety of benches, dollies, holding equipment and other positioning devices; measuring, hand tools and equipment.

WORKING PROCEDURE:
- Must pass certified welders test and blueprint test
- Receives instructions regarding the job from foreman, reads, interprets and analyzes blueprints, assembly drawings, sketches, specifications and instructions pertaining to job.
- Plans and carries out the working procedure for assembling and welding the various parts of the unit in place to conform with drawing.
- Regulates current or gas to obtain the proper fusion and penetration of metals in the weldment, to produce high strength and other pressure requirements including x-ray.
- Uses electrodes or wire types or sizes to produce the weld required.
- Uses available jigs and fixtures or may improvise holding devices necessary in order to carry a job through to completion.
- Sets up and operates related machines and equipment as instructed, including oxyacetylene torches, flame cutting attachments, scarfing, gouging, soldering and brazing equipment.
- Fulfills responsibility for dimensional and quality conformance of completed work to applicable specifications and quality standards.
- Will be recertified upon request of Underwriters or Engineering.
- Will be recertified in compliance with various Code Standards, Including but not necessarily limited to: CE/PED, API, AWS, and any others that may be specified by the customer.
- Keeps work area in clean, safe and orderly condition not including work generally performed by janitors.
- Prepares work records and other allied paper work as required to carry out the primary function.
- Performs all other tasks that may be required to carry out the primary function.
PREREQUISITES:
Advancement to the Senior Welder position is automatic providing certifications are maintained and performance, quality and efficiency is acceptable. The employee being assigned to this position must have been in the Certified Welder classification at Hilliard for a minimum of 5 years and must be certified in a minimum of 4 processes (Mig, Tig, Stick, Fluxcore or Submerged Arc). Code welders with more than 1 year in the classification but less than 5 years can be moved to Senior Certified Welder at the sole discretion of management.

This onsite opportunity is a CNC Programmer role, where the individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining CNC machining processes.
Location/Division Specific Information: Elmira, NY – Engineering Technician II – CNC Programmer. Jabil Elmira is a manufacturing and assembly facility where employees build, test, inspect, and support the production of various products. It includes engineering, quality, materials, and production operations typical of a Jabil manufacturing site.
What will you do?
Provides technical support for existing processes, including hands-on troubleshooting and failure analysis for milling machines, lathes, EDMs and other CNC equipment.
Performs programing, qualification, implementation and debugging of CNC programming and functional framework for new and updated machining processes.
Performs measurement of parts using manual gaging and automated methods.
Uses data driven decision making for CNC program corrections and improvements.
Participates in creation of machine requirements for modifications and new builds.
Participates in machine selection, vendor functional acceptance, site acceptance activities, installation and qualification activities.
Participates in cutting tool selection, custom cutting tool design, sourcing and testing.
Participates in tool holder selection, fixture selection, fixture design, sourcing and testing.
Performs installation, alignment and qualification of machine components including 4th and 5th axis rotary tables, integrated tool setters, touch probes and live tool spindles.
Participates in training of Machine Operators on equipment maintenance, tool change, tool setting, tool offsets, data transfers and other routine operational requirements.
Provides input on creative ways to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems.
Acts as a role model for Machine Operators in terms of attitude, machine asset care, troubleshooting, adherence to processes and decision making.

Perform electrical engineering functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
Perform analysis on production data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.
Be involved in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior work experience to include any combination of the following:
