We are seeking a Junior Sales Representative to support business development across the Midwest United States.
This role focuses on building relationships with municipalities, composting facilities, agricultural operations, and waste management organizations that are developing or expanding composting infrastructure.
Position Details
- Territory: Midwest United States
- Location: Remote (must reside in the Midwest)
- Travel: 50–75% travel required
- Compensation: Base salary + commissions
Candidates must be comfortable traveling regularly to customer sites, industry events, and project locations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customer opportunities across the region
- Travel to customer sites, industry events, and project meetings
- Support sales efforts involving composting technology and infrastructure projects

What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Manage all activities related to production and infrastructure equipment reliability
- Ensure preventative maintenance performed to expectation
- Ensures timely and accurate repair of machine breakdowns

What Makes You Great
- Four-year degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience required
- Minimum four years of work experience at ALPLA or similar industry required
- Experience with Computer Control Systems on machines
- Experience in working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience required

The driver qualification file includes: an annual motor vehicle records (MVR) check, a successfully completed DOT Physical, and Safety Performance History records request from prior employers in the last 3 years.
Additionally, CDL holders will have a DOT Drug Screening within 30 days of start and subject to a FMCSA Clearinghouse review.
