Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled assembler to perform a variety of tasks as assigned in conjunction with the assembly of our product. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position is responsible for safely performing high-level continuous work to quality standards. Assignments may change based on business demands.
You must have desired technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to interpret instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision.
Responsibilities:
  • Performs all mechanical assembly operations of sub-assemblies and package assembly, all sensitive and very detailed assembly operations, some electrical, instrumentation and control elements of the package, and functional test set up including in-process quality checks and tests.?
  • Performs disassembly and rebuild of air ends, or sensitive rotating assemblies.
  • Reads and interprets engineering drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, bills of material, and quality control documents.?

Understanding and application knowledge of surfactants, formulation stability, wetting, penetration and other physical characteristics is also required. Prior formulation experience in biologicals, seed treatment, adjuvant, fertilizer and micronutrient areas will also be desired.

  • Minimum of a BS in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or other related science field. An advanced degree in relevant field such as Agronomy, Plant Physiology is a plus.
  • 3-5 years in agricultural or consumer formulation and applications in the pesticide, fertilizer and adjuvant industry.
