The salary range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 annually, which is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and geographic location. This range represents the base pay for the position and does not include potential bonuses, commissions, benefits, or other forms of compensation. Final compensation will be determined at the time of offer and in accordance with internal equity and market data.

What You Will Do
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior System Safety Engineer to join our team.
As aSenior System Safety Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs
- Performing MIL-STD-882E System Safety Program tasks and analyses, or customer’s approved equivalent
- Coordinating with customer safety representatives, applying methods, standards, and techniques to provide clarification of system requirements to software, hardware, and test personnel to ensure design and architecture considerations are appropriately allocated to the system and horizontally integrated across the development teams
- Coordinating with customer safety representatives to gain safety approval from appropriate Safety Review Board authorities
- Working across all integrated product teams and lines to properly eliminate hazards or provide effective controls

In this role, you’ll lead a high-performing section of software engineers while also serving as the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL), responsible for managing scope, schedule, and budget across critical program efforts. As a Principal System Safety Engineer, you will be accountable for the establishment and execution of the major safety programs. The Safety Lead is a technical expert in missile safety as well as a project manager who establishes and monitors safety program execution, leads program safety teams, and interfaces with program & functional leadership. This requires advanced application of MIL-STD 882E for System Safety (hardware, software, firmware, and personnel) for DoD Missile systems, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience as well as project management experience and leadership. What You Will Do
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Principal System Safety Engineer to join us onsite as a Safety Lead with proven experience in executing all aspects of system safety.
- Developing and implementing one or more MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs involving management (task series 100), analysis (task series 200), evaluation (task series 300), and verification (task series 400).
- Practical application of project management skills:
- Create/update the strategy for the program to meet all its milestones with system safety features integrated into the product in compliance with contract and awarded funding.
- Create a schedule and integrate safety tasks and activities into program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
- Plan/manage the safety program effort within the Program IMS.
- Understanding of the safety budget and tasking through close coordination with the responsible CAM / IPTL / product owner, including EACs.
- Mentor junior safety engineers.
- Actively engage in engineering review boards, and configuration control boards to stay on top of design changes and assess impacts to the established safety program.
- Establish on-going feedback loop with functional and program management.
- Lead & coordinate System Safety Working Group(s) between key Raytheon and Customer representatives.

Job Description:
As the Refrigeration Program Manager, you will work with the maintenance teams, refrigeration technicians, vendors, food safety, engineering, and other departments to drive performance metrics of the refrigeration team. You will be responsible for the on-going development and improvement of the refrigeration program. This will include development of preventative maintenance plans, achieving sustainability goals, driving efficiency of key performance metrics, overseeing IOQ processes, and working toward the betterment of all maintenance goals related to HVAC and refrigeration across the network.

- Maintain compliance with all safety, food safety, and security standards.
- Create and execute training classes specifically focused on technicians' needs.
- Plan and host manufacturer lead training courses for technicians based on needs.
- Review and give input on 3PS vendor quotes, service level agreements, and planned maintenance agreements.
- Successfully implement multi-facility planned maintenance programs focused on building mechanical systems, to include HVAC, Refrigeration, Glycol systems, etc.
- Travel to multiple locations to provide instructor led training to MRE technicians.
- Participate in the interview and selection process for Industrial Refrigeration Technicians.
- Drive regulatory compliance on relevant EPA and OSHA regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement a long-term strategy to absorb refrigerant and HVACR spare parts purchasing and storage.
- Ensure EPA refrigerant logs are accurate and properly maintained.
- Document all work in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and ticketing systems as appropriate.
- Mentor all maintenance personnel in developing appropriate skill sets and knowledge of equipment, specializing in refrigeration and base building mechanical systems.
- Partner with construction on commissioning of new refrigeration and base building systems.
- Audit vendor work and provide feedback to leadership on quality of work and SLA performance.
- Write and/or modify PMs to standardize across the network and increase effectiveness.
- Oversee building project work as assigned.
Mandatory Requirements
You have..
- 8-10 years of experience with large commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience.
- Advanced understanding of rack system refrigeration and associated equipment.
- Current Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Section 608 certification and the ability to certify as a proctor for EPA certification for MRE technicians.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Ability to conform to all OSHA, PSM, HAZMAT, and HelloFresh safety programs and regulations.
- Ability to demonstrate understanding of proper handling and recycling procedures for chlorofluorocarbon (CFC), hydrochlorofluorocarbon (HCFC), Hydrofluro-Olefins (HFO), CO2, and other industry standard refrigerant types.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Knowledge of general construction standards and techniques.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics and diagrams.
- In depth experience working with Heating, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, and Refrigeration systems to include controls, refrigerant handling, electro mechanical troubleshooting, proper system charging techniques, electrical and refrigerant safety protocols.
