concerns. The Certified Wound Continence and Ostomy Nurse participates in patient care assessment,
planning, implementation, and evaluation for inpatients.

In this role, teaching and support is given to the patient and/or caregiver. She/He provides care for
stomas, complex wounds, fistulae, pressure ulcers, and fecal and urinary incontinence. The CWON or
CWOCN Nurse provides specialized knowledge and skill to assist physicians and nursing staff with the
management and teaching of patients with complex skin care needs, and guidance for selection of
related product formulary.
Provides specialized knowledge and skill to assist physicians and nursing staff with the management
and teaching of patients with ostomies or patients with complex skin care needs.
Acquires and maintains current knowledge in nursing practice to deliver quality patient care.
The Certified Wound Continence and Ostomy Nurse provides mentoring for hospital staff in relation
to these issues and assists in setting guidelines for patient care. These services and processes are
performed in accordance with standards of care and hospital guidelines.
Leads, coordinates and carries out a wound care shared governance committee which includes
collection and reporting of data such as incidence, prevalence, and pressure injury prevention
interventions.
Conducts product review related to wound and ostomy care collecting recommendations, evaluations
and development of protocols for utilization.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education:
Bachelors of Nursing required; Masters in Nursing preferred

Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in medical surgical nursing.
Minimum Certifications, Registration or License Requirements:
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; BLS required based on organizational
guidelines/polices; Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON) or Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence

Salary Range

  • Willing to conduct investigations, interviews with insureds, witnesses and claimants while maintaining a pending of represented claimant cases.
  • Manage and direct outside vendors (Field/Counsel/Surveillance, Etc..) to determine what investigation is necessary and give them direction to bring a claim to conclusion. Ensure only necessary work is completed.
  • Investigate cases timely so that reserves are established and maintained at proper levels. Revise reserves timely based on developments in the course of the claim.
  • Investigate the validity of bodily injury claims being presented by individual insureds/claimants or attorneys representing insureds/claimants. Be aware of certain “Red Flags” to identify potential fraudulent claims. Refer to SIU for investigation timely.
  • Have advanced skills in coverage, investigation, litigation/ legal issues, negotiations, evaluations, medical terminology, and subrogation. Handle more complex claims to include coverage issues, UM/UIM, etc.. Also, must have prior litigation handling.
  • Recognize and investigate subrogation potential.
  • Negotiate both 1st and 3rd party claims directly with injured parties or their attorneys.
  • Exercises proper judgment and decision making to analyze exposure, determine the proper course of action and make recommendations for final resolution.
  • Attend litigation proceedings to either represent the company or participate in arbitrations/depositions/settlement conferences/ mediations/ trials.
  • Attend all internal and external training events as required.

Job Details Position Summary The Quality Engineer will support manufacturing operations by ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements.

This role serves as a key contributor in process development, root-cause analysis, quality planning, and documentation control.

The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities General Responsibilities Support and assist in Special Process Qualifications and Source Qualifications.

Maintain and track KPI metrics for quality performance.

Apply and interpret AS9102 FAIR, PPAP, and Process Validation activities.

Develop inspection plans and ensure compliance with customer and engineering requirements.

Oversee MRB (Material Review Board) activities and maintain related documentation.

Update and organize quality file folders for manufacturing programs.

Manage test and inspection processes across multiple product lines.

Prepare technical Corrective Action responses and manage RCA/8D events.

Conduct internal audits and support customer audits as needed.

Assist with supplier quality management and source inspections.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.

Generate reports for shop performance, including capability studies, Gage R&R, and correlation studies.

Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Management teams.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.

3+ years of Quality or Manufacturing Engineering experience in aerospace or another regulated industry.

Understanding of or experience with QMS requirements and compliance to industry standards.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100.

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.

Strong problem-solving skills; ability to conduct root-cause analysis.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Six Sigma certifications (Green or Black Belt) are a plus.

Familiarity with CMM or related inspection tools is a plus.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently within a cross-functional team.
