The Project Manager II role is a full-time, salaried, exempt position that reports to the Regional Capital Projects Manager, working closely with a well-established team. This role is responsible for overseeing various project initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Focus:
- Define project objectives and coordinate the planning and delivery of projects using a clear roles and responsibility framework.

Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years managing several industrial projects of varying complexity, ranging in size from $1 to $10 million or equivalent experience.
- Experience with cost engineering and key performance indicators.
- Proficiency in industrial process project planning and scheduling with multi-craft trades.
- Experience with industrial process project commissioning means and methods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Primavera, or other resource-loaded scheduling tools.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to travel as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Experience working with third-party design firms executing under various contractual methodologies.
- Experience managing multi-year projects with multidisciplinary teams.

The Carle Cath Lab performs many exciting and innovative procedures including, but not limited to: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, PTCA interventions, TAVR, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, MitraClip, as well as peripheral vascular procedures including Peripheral Angiography, Peripheral PTA. Staff are responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the Prep/Recovery and Procedure Lab staff to facilitate excellent patient care. Evaluate and enhance your own nursing practice by utilizing the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope and Standards of Practice to provide 1:1 patient care to adult patients undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and that is based on patient and family needs. Administer moderate sedation and other medications in a safe manner by following Carle Policies. Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Identifies own learning needs and takes initiative to begin appropriate solution. Perform hemodynamic monitoring, identify potential life-threatening arrhythmias, and implement appropriate clinical treatment. Position Highlights: NT4 Ortho-Urology Surgical Unit
- Number of beds on unit: 41
- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): NT4 is 41- bed unit specializing in the care of acute ortho and urology surgical patients. We are DNV certified for our hip and knee replacement surgeries. Surgical patients on this unit includes limb trauma patients, as well low acuity medical patients. With Carle being a level trauma center most regional trauma patients will be admitted to this unit.
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:4-6
- Department culture and resources: North Tower 4 is a fast paced throughput unit that highly collaborates with physical and occupational therapists. The average length of stay for most patients is a max of three days, so staff can experience the entire recovery process of the patient. We focus on being a team to provide the best and safest care to our community. Our patients appreciate the kind and positive reassurance they receive from our staff. Additionally resources for the unit include: a full-time educator, part-time educator, 2 nurse supervisors, a manager, and charge nurses.

- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): Primarily cardiac patients with cardiac drips and post cardiac procedures, pulmonary patients and m edical-surgical overflow with a variety of diagnoses. Adult population over 17 years of age.

Unit relies on strong communication skills between all team members, especially with the Heart and Vascular Institute procedural area. Supportive teamwork is crucial among team members on the unit to provide high quality care. - Number of beds on unit: 50 beds (divided between 2 , A side with 24 beds and B side with 26 beds)
- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): Primarily cardiac patients with cardiac drips and post cardiac procedures, pulmonary patients and medical-surgical overflow with a variety of diagnoses. Adult population over 17 years of age.
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:4-6
- Department culture and resources: Fast paced unit with medically complex patients. Unit relies on strong communication skills between all team members, especially with the Heart and Vascular Institute procedural area. Supportive teamwork is crucial among team members on the unit to provide high quality care. New and experienced team members empower each other to drive new patient care initiatives and promote a culture of inclusion.

Position Highlights: CT7B Advanced Care
- Number of beds on unit: 24
- Patient population (age, diagnosis, specifics about unit): The Advanced Care Unit is a 24-bed unit specializing in the care of acutely unstable patients that do not meet criteria for Intensive Care status but still require frequent, advanced assessments and interventions. Specific patient populations or conditions that require Advanced Care status include complex multi-trauma, uncompensated sepsis, continuous non-invasive ventilation, stroke, complicated withdrawal from alcohol or other recreational drugs, and DKA. The unit also includes an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) where patients with seizure-like events can be safely taken off medication to purposefully induce seizure-like events and provide vital information to the Epilepsy Team about how to treat them.
- Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:3
- Department culture and resources: The Advanced Care Unit is a fast-pace, team-oriented unit. We work closely with our physician partners and ancillary team members to achieve the best outcomes for our patients. We have a robust Partnership Committee that meets monthly. We have a unit-based educator, a quality outcomes coordinator, 2 nurse supervisors and charge nurses.
- Frequent nursing skills/equipment used: Minimum Q4 hour full RN assessments. Minimum Q2 hour vital signs. Continuous cardiac monitoring by primary RN, Foley/IV/NG insertions, arterial line/central line/chest tube monitoring and care, IV pumps, feeding pumps, lift equipment. Performs examination, selecting reliable and valid examination methods relevant to the chief complaint, results of screening, and history.
Produces documentation in accordance with the Clinical Process Policy (CTSCP67).
Screens patients using procedures to determine the effectiveness of and need fortherapy services, if appropriate.
Uses support personnel according to legal standards and ethical guidelines. Monitors the care delivered by support personnel and provides regular feedback.
If applicable, completes annual education as assigned to comply with DNV Hip and Knee Replacement Program requirements.

The compensation range for this position is $36.74per hour - $63.19per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. Overview
Comprehensive Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology and Hospital Radiation Safety is responsible for performing all medical physics tasks necessary for the safe and accurate delivery of therapeutic ionizing radiation in collaboration with the radiation oncologists, interventional radiology, and staff of Carle Foundation Hospital. Comprehensive Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology and Hospital Radiation Safety will be responsible for maintaining State and Federal regulatory requirements specific to the practice of radiation therapy and radiation safety at Carle Foundation Hospital. Comprehensive Medical Physicist in Radiation Oncology, Interventional Radiology and Hospital Radiation Safety provides physics support for the following four (4) hospital units at Carle Health in Urbana: (1) Carle Cancer Institute and is responsible for quality control of all three linear accelerators in the radiation oncology department; (2) Interventional Radiology for intravascular administration of Y-90 radioactive therapy for patients with liver metastases; (3) Hospital Safety Department working with radiation safety officer on implementing all radiation safety measure for the entire hospital. Those measures are appropriate utilization of radiation safety precautions by hospital staff, proper dose monitoring in radiation exposure areas of the hospital, and proper licensing of all providers who are authorized users (AU) of radiation sources in the State of Illinois. (4) Comprehensive Medical Physicist will also provide radiation safety service for proper therapy of patients with brain tumors with radioactive seeds (Gamma Tile Cs-131) treated in Neurosurgery Department at Carle. He/she will create and monitor clinical quality indicators and collaborates with physicians to ensure appropriate treatment guidelines are utilized and monitored.

Overview
The staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the utilization of the nursing process, nursing trends, technology, financial and human resources within the philosophy of the institution. The Carle Cath Lab performs many exciting and innovative procedures including, but not limited to: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, PTCA interventions, TAVR, Left Atrial Appendage Closure, MitraClip, as well as peripheral vascular procedures including Peripheral Angiography, Peripheral PTA. Staff are responsible for collaborating with physicians and members of the Prep/Recovery and Procedure Lab staff to facilitate excellent patient care. The HVI offers several unique opportunities for personal and professional growth, flexible staffing options (i.e. cross-training, job sharing, minimal on-call shifts), HVI MD Lecture series (which includes free CEUs for staff), mentoring program (to support new hires and transfers), and educational events with various HVI equipment and procedural training (i.e. Shockwave, CoroFlow, Structural Heart Program).

Responsibilities
Evaluate and enhance your own nursing practice by utilizing the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope and Standards of Practice to provide 1:1 patient care to adult patients undergoing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures. Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops appropriate plan of care in accordance with unit standards and that is based on patient and family needs. Implements plan of care, nursing interventions, and patient care procedures. Modifies plan of care based upon continuous evaluation. Administer moderate sedation and other medications in a safe manner by following Carle Policies. Communicates with others directly and in private when necessary to resolve issues. Offers constructive feedback to assist in the professional development of peers, and confers with colleagues to expand knowledge base. Identifies own learning needs and takes initiative to begin appropriate solution. Perform hemodynamic monitoring, identify potential life-threatening arrhythmias, and implement appropriate clinical treatment. Collaborate with patients and families to answer questions and provide emotional support when needed. Enhance patient care activities and act as a safety advocate through participation in ongoing department quality improvement and evidence-based practice projects.
