What You Will Do

  • Model factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key performance indicators
  • Calculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints
  • Apply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals
  • Influence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals, and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage 
  • Work with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth
  • Support new production contract/new product proposals and new product integration efforts
  • Improve factory safety and work cell ergonomics

Job Summary:

The Flight Avionics Team provides Electrical Systems Engineering to develop Flight Avionics solutions for products across the Raytheon portfolio. Our team develops missile Flight Avionics Hardware. The Fight Avionics Team is searching for an Sr. Advanced Guidance Section/Avionics Tech Lead with experience as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL). The role of the Electrical Subsystems Lead is to manage a cross-functional and cross-discipline team of engineers through product development. The Electrical Subsystem Lead provides both technical guidance and supervision in meeting project commitment. They also manage suppliers and may lead efforts in proposal development. 

What You Will Do:

  • Work environment is primarily in an office, but may include labs, field work, or a combination.
  • Assignments may include guiding a team through several phases of hardware systems lifecycle such as designs and analysis; architecting new electronic systems; developing and documenting subsystem requirements and test plans; peer reviews of designs as a subject matter expert; presentations to peers, management, and government customers; and root-cause failure investigations.

MEP Assistant Superintendent Job Description: The MEP Assistant Superintendent position allows an individual to develop skills for a career in technical MEP construction and management.

Working directly with the project MEP Superintendent conducting field inspections, progress updates, assisting with document control, equipment inspections, vendor coordination, and supporting the equipment startup and commissioning process.

Responsibilities Maintain adherence to HITT’s standards of safety Assist bidding mechanical and electrical trades Ensure that required documentation is filed Assist in conducting project meetings and record minutes Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the life of the project Assist in developing an MEP critical path schedule Update project schedule, establish overall project logistics Assist in coordinating and tracking critical path construction and startup activities Review mechanical and electrical submittals Track and coordinate equipment deliveries Assist MEP Manager to provide conflict resolution for MEP issues Assist in coordinating and managing the quality control process for MEP systems construction Assist in managing startup and pretesting of mechanical and electrical systems Assist coordinating and supporting third party commissioning activities Manage commissioning documentation Assist in managing the closeout process Qualifications High school diploma required, four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred.

2-5 years’ experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor Passion for construction industry Ability to recognize and seek quality Strong communication skills; verbal and written Strong leadership skills; able to build and lead a team Aptitude for problem solving Ability to work independently Motivated self-starter Effectively utilize computer and software technology in the performance of duties Willingness to travel In accordance with California’s Labor Code Section 432.3, the base salary range for this position is: $87,120.00
