Responsibilities:
- Support the business onsite in our Needham, MA headquarters with the development of successful and profitable programs for key products to ensure continued growth of the product portfolio – you will assist in leading new product development (creation and management) of assigned product(s) from brainstorm phase through mass production, as well as partner with leadership to define the over-arching category direction to a team of product developers. You are responsible AND accountable for progressing, reporting on, and actioning your and your team’s deliverables.
- Define, develop, and iterate product specifications, marrying consumer wants/needs, white space in the market, and product technologies as the primary consumer advocate.
- Take ownership of your assigned categories’ sales performance – partnering with others in the company to identify what products are working/not working; and recommend new product opportunities to fill those gaps.
- Lead competitive product analyses, giving your business partners insight into how Shark stacks up against the competition - and maintaining a clear lens on how we can constantly improve to make Shark the consumer’s top choice every time.
- Be the voice of our legacy product lines: share insights and learnings from consumers and the market with Product Developers focused on NPD to ensure critical features and feedback are incorporated into next generation products.
- Partner with SharkNinja Testing and Quality organizations to define, develop, and manage quality and performance testing procedures.
- Act as the product “expert” for cross-functional team member questions and concerns.
ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:
- 4-5+ years of experience in product development, product marketing, marketing, human factors engineering, or a related field – preferable at a consumer goods company.
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or a combination of the above.
- A “100% on” consumer-first perspective when it comes to introducing new products/processes or improving current products.
- A mindset geared toward building relationships across multi-functional teams, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

- Actively participate in over-all day-today operational leadership and decision-making as the subject matter expert for all project quality management functions including self-performed work, materials or work performed by suppliers, vendors, subcontractors.

- Manage and schedule all required quality testing, inspections and documentation including all third-party quality control related services.
- Manage the quality processes required per contract documents, specifications, drawings, engineering calcs for work activities such as crane/hoisting lifts, temporary works, falsework, shoring, formwork, safety systems, etc.
- Provide overall leadership to ensure work is constructed in compliance and work quality is accurately documented through clear and traceable record keeping and reporting.
- Develop and implement project specific Quality Control Plan that meets company policies, project requirements and is aligned with industry standards and best practices. Perform periodic audits to verify adherence to QA/QC Management Plan.
- Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of project contract documents, (drawings and specifications, and requirements by reference, etc.
- Maintain applicable industry reference standards and facilitate project access to relevant team members.

- Actively participate in the RFI process to ensure timely receipt, review, response, and close out.
- Monitor project work for any non-compliance issues and ensure corrective measures are approved, executed, and closed out with documented acceptance.
- Manage project close-out, including timely management of punch list, commissioning, and transitional system operations turnover.
Qualifications:
- Four-year engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combination of technical training and relevant experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of documented experience performing in a construction quality control management role.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction industry practices and standards, as well as experience with supervision, estimating, scheduling, budget preparation, and project status reporting.

- Electrical Standards, Codes, and regulations: IEEE, UL, ANSI/NEMA, NFPA 70E, NEC, IEC, CSA.
