We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Associate - Lead Civil Engineer to join our team in our Boston, MA Office. Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead a wide range of civil engineering analysis and design tasks related to: roadway design, zoning analysis, site plan preparation, site stormwater management, utility planning and layout, transportation planning/design, parking analysis and layout, vehicle maneuvering analysis, site ADA improvements, pavement and grading design.  
  • Lead coordination and presentation of submissions with local municipalities, utilities, environmental agencies, and local planning boards, as appropriate.
  • Perform site investigations to observe and document existing conditions.
  • Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings, specifications, and bid packages.
  • Supervise the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications and lead the coordination with other design disciplines as required to deliver high quality engineering services.
  • Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects.
  • Utilize a broad assortment of technical and project management skills on projects that range from small site restorations to large scale new construction. 
  • Engage with existing clients and pursue new clients to support growth of the business in the region across LiRo-Hill’s service lines.
  • Lead the preparation of technical content for proposals for civil engineering services.
  • Attend industry and business development functions as a representative of the firm.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop local engineering staff.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly updates of project financials and revenue projections.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Site and Civil Engineering
  • MA Civil PE required
  • Experience in working with various MA cities and townships, MBTA, Massport, and/or MassDOT
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to provide constructive guidance to engineers and drafters
  • Understanding and application of local code and permitting requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with the Regional Manager and other business units for pursuit of business opportunities and growth of the practice
  • Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
  • AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience

Who You Are

What You Will Do

Your key responsibilities

As a Director with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Deal Finance (M&A) practice, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing buy side and sell side projects, focusing on the CFO agenda and Finance function. You'll lead projects across sectors, collaborating with client service teams to develop and execute transaction strategies. To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience in Finance integrations, divestitures, and/or carve‑outs including transaction strategy, operating model, org design, synergies, transition services agreements (TSAs), etc.


  • In‑depth knowledge of and experience in the Finance function (e.g., accounting, reporting, budgeting and planning, order‑to‑cash, procure‑to‑pay, financial systems), and significant management consulting experience.


  • Proven ability to manage complex business environments and synthesize solutions for integration/divestiture challenges.


  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, influencing, and relationship‑building skills.


  • Knowledge of how to leverage AI tools in a business setting, including Microsoft Copilot.
