What You'll Do:
- Manage the day-to-day direction of the plant operations leadership team, including superintendents, foremen, and supervisors
- Establish functional business plans and technical project objectives to meet the short- and long- term goals of a production organization
- Exercise supervision with respect to production volume, cost and quality of production; meeting production and delivery dates
- Direct auxiliary functions within a plant to support manufacturing operations: material control, tooling engineering, estimating, purchasing (MRO)
- Monitor performance and implement corrective actions to maintain momentum

- Build and refine systems that elevate productivity, track key metrics, and maximize ROI

What You'll Need:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations and production environments
- Must have prior experience in a Plant manager role and proven leadership skills promoting team engagement
- 5+ years of manufacturing repair facility experience or similar environment required
- Prior railcar maintenance, repair, and/or manufacturing experience highly preferred
- 5+ years driving continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing settings

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. May have practical knowledge of projects, programs and systems with the ability to make enhancements in daily work.
Perform electrical engineering functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
Perform analysis on production data, to determine root cause analysis of failures.
Be involved in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in McKinney, TX.

In this Systems Engineer role, you may support some of the following types of activities:

Perform Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments and perform/execute the testing
Integrate Systems: Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact. Perform Platform Integration, Flight Test, Qualification, Design Verification Execution
Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
Perform Data Analysis: Conduct statistical and numerical analysis test data to ensure optimal system performance and verify requirements.
Support Missions: Travel as needed to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
