Job Description


Role Overview

The Guidewire Senior Business Analyst / Functional Lead is responsible for leading requirements, functional design, and end‑to‑end solutioning across Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). This role works closely with business stakeholders, architects, technical teams, and QA to ensure successful delivery of Guidewire implementations and enhancements.

The Senior BA/Functional Lead provides domain expertise, drives requirement clarity, ensures alignment across teams, and often leads small functional pods within Guidewire programs.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements & Functional Analysis

Lead requirement‑gathering sessions with business users, SMEs, product owners, and underwriting/claims/billing teams.

Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and workflows.

Analyze current‑state and future‑state processes; identify gaps and recommend optimal solutions.

Create functional specifications, process maps, BRDs/FRDs, and configuration requirements for Guidewire modules.

Guidewire Functional Leadership

Serve as the functional expert for PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter based on project needs.

Guide configuration teams on field changes, business rules, rating logic, questionnaires, underwriting rules, billing plans, claims transactions, and workflows.

Validate that designs align with Guidewire out‑of‑the‑box capabilities and recommend appropriate extensions when needed.

Support design discussions with technical architects, integration teams, and data teams.

Required Skills & Experience

12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3-5 years in Guidewire implementations.

Strong functional expertise in one or more Guidewire products:

PolicyCenter (UW, Rating, Product Model, Policy Transactions)

BillingCenter (Billing Plans, Payments, Invoicing, Delinquency)

ClaimCenter (FNOL, coverage validation, reserves, payments, recovery)

Strong understanding of P&C insurance domain (underwriting, policy, billing, claims).

Experience writing user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.

Ability to lead functional teams and collaborate closely with architects, developers, and QA.

Strong proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and Agile management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Guidewire Business Analyst or Specialist certifications.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud or cloud transformation programs.

Knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and API/integration patterns.

Experience with rating engines, product configuration, or third‑party integrations."



The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 140,000 to 150,000

The Senior Asset Protection Investigator will be responsible for protecting the profitability of the company through detection, identification, investigation, and reduction of shrink and compliance exposures, throughout the entire vertical structure of PharmaCann. Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Monitoring & reviewing of electronic surveillance (Access Control & CCTV) as well as security alarm systems (Intrusion/Fire).

  • Inspect company properties for Security & Asset Protection concerns and then assist with correcting and further securing.

Competencies and Qualifications

Your Mission:

The Role:

We are looking for a Director, Environmental Permitting, to lead and scale all environmental functions supporting development, permitting, construction, and operations of on-site power generation to support large data center loads across the U.S.

You will be responsible for leading all environmental strategy, permitting, compliance, and regulatory interface activities for Scale Microgrids Data Center business, providing executive-level oversight of environmental risk management across natural gas generation facilities, data center infrastructure, and electric transmission and distribution assets. You will establish environmental standards, manage agency relationships, oversee consultants, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and in full regulatory compliance.

This is a leadership role with strategic and operational accountability. Environmental risk can kill a project quietly and expensively, and this role ensures our portfolio moves forward with regulatory certainty, disciplined compliance, and long-term operational stability.

The role reports to our Chief Development Officer, Data Centers, and is based in either our NYC, Ridgewood, NJ, Santa Monica/Oakland, CA, or Chicago offices.

Key responsibilities will include:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute environmental strategies for all projects.
  • Identify environmental risks early in project development and integrate mitigation strategies into siting, engineering, and financial modeling.
  • Serve as the environmental authority for executive leadership.
  • Build and lead the environmental team as the portfolio scales.

Permitting & Regulatory Strategy

  • Direct permitting strategy for natural gas generation facilities, data centers, substations, transmission infrastructure, and distribution systems.
  • Oversee federal, state, and local environmental permitting, including Clean Air Act permitting (Title V, PSD, minor source permits), Clean Water Act Sections 404 and 401, stormwater and NPDES compliance, wetlands and listed species coordination, cultural resource coordination, and NEPA documentation where applicable.
  • Develop permitting schedules aligned with project development milestones.
  • Lead negotiations and interface with agencies, including the Department of Environmental Protection, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, and local jurisdictions and water management districts.

Compliance & Operational Oversight

  • Ensure compliance across development, construction, and operational phases.
  • Establish internal environmental compliance frameworks and reporting systems.
  • Oversee environmental audits and corrective action plans.
  • Provide guidance on air emissions monitoring, water discharge compliance, waste management, and spill prevention.

Technical Oversight

  • Direct environmental due diligence for land acquisition and project development.
  • Oversee Phase I and II ESA processes.
  • Evaluate site constraints related to wetlands, species, floodplains, and cultural resources.
  • Interpret evolving federal and state environmental regulations and advise leadership accordingly.

Cross-Functional Leadership
