The Work:

Position Overview
Toro Construction Corp is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to support our growing General Contracting Division. This key team member will lead the preparation of accurate, competitive, and thorough estimates for a variety of commercial and public works projects. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for public and private construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare quantity takeoffs and pricing.

Preferred Qualifications

- Strong understanding of construction means and methods.

The Role We Want You For
Provides project document coordination and recording throughout the PreBid, Design, Construction and Closeout process. The Specifics of the Role
- Maintain Electronic Project Files and multiple platforms.
- Assist Estimating Department in Bidding Efforts.
- Type, assemble, organize, file, distribute, etc., Project Meeting Minutes, Bid Packages, Submittal Packages, Drawings, Contracts, Change Orders, etc.
- Create and maintain Distribution Lists in PMWeb.
- Manage and adjust workflows for standardized processes with the direction of the project team.
- Enter new companies and update company information in PMWeb, and elsewhere, as necessary.
- Assist in format and content of project specific reports as requested.
- Follow up with Subcontractors, Designers, and Suppliers for submittals, executed contracts, change orders, closeouts, etc.
- Request, assemble and submit the closeout documents to the owner and to archive.
- Maintain company standards and procedures for the Project and follow up with the team to ensure they are being followed.
- Assist in data searches of previous projects.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction industry is a plus
- Two-year degree in business administration or related associates degree is preferred.

Summary
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing construction schedules to support successful project execution across all phases of electrical construction projects. This role partners with project managers, field leadership, and construction operations teams to identify critical path activities, monitor progress, and proactively address schedule risks. By providing accurate forecasting, productivity analysis, and schedule reporting, the Project Scheduler enables informed decision-making to help ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
What you’ll do:
Schedule Development and Management
• Develop, implement, and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 (or similar).
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather schedule inputs related to material procurement, labor planning, and installation sequencing.
• Identify and manage critical path activities to support timely execution of project milestones.
• Process schedule updates, revisions, and logic changes as projects evolve.
• Document scheduling processes and maintain accurate schedule records.
Project Timeline Coordination and Analysis
• Define sequencing and methods of work for electrical installations within the overall construction schedule.

• Prepare progress updates, look-ahead schedules, and manpower projections to support forecasting and planning.
Reporting and Productivity Insights
• Analyze field installation data to identify trends, productivity impacts, and schedule variances.
• Prepare and distribute schedule and progress reports to project teams and construction leadership.

What you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field required.
- • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Scheduler in construction or a related industry.
- • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project scheduling software.
- • Demonstrated experience developing and managing schedules for large, multi-phase construction projects.

The Role We Want You For
Ventana is currently seeking a Cost Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be assisting in the development and management of the project financial strategy. You will be working directly with the project management team (Direct report to Director of Cost Management) to manage the project budget, costs, change orders, billings and forecasts. You will be responsible for generating and maintaining reports that provide information to different groups, work with the management team to identify variances, risks and maintain quality control processes to improve project cost procedures and ensuring conformity with management's strategy.
The Specifics of the Role
- Works with all project disciplines to ensure understanding of total project cost budget allowances and targets.
- Review project documents and specifications to accurately identify, develop and track request of change orders (General Contractor related), baseline estimates, potential risk exposures while communicating potential impacts to the financial targets, schedule and overall project management process.
- Works closely with the accounting department to ensure the correct integration of all information needed to ensure accuracy in billings, payment applications, change orders, direct cost, labor cost, etc.
- Works closely with the project management team, executive management personnel, subcontractors, as well as occasional contact with clients.
- Responsible for cost engineering, cost estimation, cost analysis, and control activities for projects with significant non-routine requirements or for proposal estimating activities which require a moderate degree of technical skill and experience.
- Ensuring quality, accuracy, consistency, spend profile, performing change management, and transparency in all cost management deliverables.
- Take ownership of the cost control function and ensure integrity of the cost and forecast reporting
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor Business Administration, Engineering, or Construction Management Degree
- Minimum of 2 years in the construction industry
- Knowledge of project development stages, procurement, project controls and construction execution practices is required.

Responsibilities: Conduct Site Studies evaluating damages to building materials or components for Residential and Commercial Structures, including but not limited to roof systems, foundations, water intrusion, cladding elements, construction defects, and complete structural systems.
Write Technical Reports that provide detailed and accurate findings and conclusions related to a completed site investigation.
Provide excellent customer service to company internal and external customers.
On occasion, provide expert testimony or depositions as needed on projects to which you have been assigned.

Education/Requirements: BS Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, etc…) Registered as an active Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Pennsylvania.
Have an active NCEES record (Or be eligible to obtain within 90 days of employment).
2-3 of experience in Structural Engineering, Structural Analysis, Failure Analysis, knowledge of Residential and/or Commercial Construction, Building Codes, Design, or related experience is highly preferred.
Required to have a valid driver’s license, with an acceptable driving record.
Required to have strong technical writing abilities with experience using Microsoft Word.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Duty 1: Responsible for the maintenance activities at all Remote BVHS locations / facilities.
Remote locations are both Commercial and Residential.
Excluding Findlay and Bluffton hospitals, there are approximately 30 locations to be maintained.
This includes leased locations where BVHS has maintenance responsibilities.
Duty 2: In conjunction with Supervisor and/or Manager of Facility Services, coordinates with internal resources (HVAC Technicians, Electricians, and Fire Safety Specialist) along with Contractors to fulfill repairs, as needed, based on skillset and scope of work.
Duty 3: Performs plumbing duties as required: 1) Performs troubleshooting to diagnose potential problems and makes necessary repairs to pumps, couplings, seals, valves, piping, steam traps and related equipment.
2) Performs pipefitting such as cutting and threading, solder and brazing, use of manual threading machine and assorted gas torches.
3) Performs installation and layout of various plumbing systems, steam, water, gas and oil.
4) Demonstrates initiative with keeping updated and informed on new systems and equipment.
Duty 4: Performs electrical duties as required: 1) Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs electronic, electrical circuits and related equipment.
2) Performs installation and repairs on electrical circuits of 12V to 277V AC/DC.
3) Performs installation and repairs to electrical control circuitry on machinery and mechanical systems.
4) Performs general troubleshooting and repairs on nurse call system.
5) Shares knowledge and changes made to electrical systems with others.
6) Ability to use electrical testing and measuring equipment.
7) Maintains a good understanding of the electrical distribution system and locations of disconnects and shut-offs for areas served.
8) Maintains safety by following Energy Control Procedures and Arc Flash guidelines.
9) Understands emergency power distribution and generator monthly load tests.
Duty 5: Performs mechanical duties as required: 1) Repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment.
2) Performs troubleshooting and repairs to machinery and mechanical equipment such as bearings, motors, pumps, seals, couplings and related equipment.
3) Ability to install, set-up, calibrate, program controls and process within the building automated system.
4) Performs preventative maintenance on schedule to prevent potential problems.
5) Understands the lay-out and distribution of mechanical systems such as air handlers, medical gases, pneumatic system, chillers, boilers, heating water, cooling water and minor refrigeration.
Duty 6: Maintains communication systems as required: 1) Performs troubleshooting, repairs to nurse call systems and related devices, televisions, paging system and fire alarm systems and devices.
Duty 7: Assesses and maintains architectural structure of the facilities.
Ensures exterior building issues are identified and resolved in a timely manner.
Duty 8: Ensures a safe and comfortable environment for patient, staff and visitors.
1) Demonstrates geographic knowledge and locations of system shut-offs throughout the hospital in the event of an emergency.
2) Changes faulty lights, ballasts, outlets and switches promptly to ensure a safe environment.
3) Performs inspection tours as scheduled with the ability to foresee and notice abnormalities in the operation of mechanical equipment.
4) Participates in hospital and department in-service education and training programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma.
Minimum of 5 consecutive years’ experience in mechanical field.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read and follow instruction manuals, including drawings and parts lists.
Knowledge of institutional maintenance principles and techniques including applicable local, state and federal codes (i.e., building, plumbing, electrical) Approximately three to five years progressively more responsible related work experience in an institutional setting necessary to gain advanced knowledge of maintenance and engineering as it relates to facility operations and be able to coordinate planning of preventative maintenance activities.
Thorough knowledge of hand/power tools and testing instruments.
Working knowledge of mechanical equipment, electricity, and plumbing.
General knowledge of HVAC systems and fire alarm systems.
May be required to work any shift, fixed or rotated and days off may be fixed or rotated.
A valid driver's license is required, and you must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy requirements Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent activities of lifting, bending, squatting, and twisting.
The associate is required to walk and stand for eight hours a day.
This position requires associate to lift fifty pounds and reach work above the shoulders.
This associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
This position is classified “at risk” for possible occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens (HBV, HIV, etc.)
