General Description

This experienced individual will manage and oversee all activities related to the QC function including oversight of the divisions quality assurance plan, laboratory quality system plan, research and development, mix designs, binder testing and certification, and other relevant QC managerial duties to meet the needs of the liquid asphlat terminal operations. In addition, the right candidate will provide guidance to the personal development of others within the QC Division including training, performance management, and safety. This position will work in conjunction with the Terminal Manager and will report directly to the Division Manager of Liquid Asphalt.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provides leadership, direction, development and organization to all terminal staff.
Responsibility for all administrative duties, recordkeeping, and reporting in regards to the terminal facility.
Oversees and directs inventory control and manufacturing operations (where applicable).
Responsible for directing incoming product receipts, inter-plant disposition, product blending, transfers and shipments.
Develops and maintains a hands on working knowledge of all operational manufacturing processes and equipment.
Responsible for local oversight of plant facilities, maintenance, repairs and expansion projects.
Ensures plant and offices are kept clean, organized, free from clutter and hazards. Sees that they are maintained in a secure and proper working order.
Maintains a working knowledge of all tests and product specification requirements and coordinates with technical personnel to maintain product quality and consistency.
Oversees and continuously develops relationships at the plant level with customers, transportation representatives, and agency personnel.
Responsibility for development and enforcement of safety and environmental programs along with Agency compliance, documentation, and reporting.
Manages cost control and local purchasing of equipment, raw materials, and supplies for routine operations of the plan and recommends to management needs for any capital expenditures.
Any other duties as may be assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry or Business Management preferred.
NBTC – National Binder Technician Certification
Minimum 5 years’ prior experience with asphalt terminal operations and product receipts by truck, rail and barge or alternately within a chemical processing environment. Polymer processing and emulsions a plus (where applicable).
Proven track record of operations leadership, team building and personnel development.
Working knowledge in Industrial Safety and environmental compliance reporting.
Excellent communication skills with ability to interact effectively with suppliers, peers, customers and agency personnel to manage logistical, operational, reporting, or product quality issues.
Solid technical and analytical skills, mechanical skills and problem solving ability.
Competency at prioritizing, making effective decisions, and implementing change.
Strong recordkeeping and organization skills with attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; ability to master local operational software
Valid Driver’s license required.

Physical Demands

Must be available to work full days and periodic alternate shifts. Requires ability to periodically work long hours, multiple shifts, nights and weekends included.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and able to bend, stoop and kneel as needed.
Able to enter confined spaces and wear proper PPE when required.
Able to climb railcars and tanks.
Requires working in office conditions, performing some clerical work, working periodically outside in a manufacturing plant environment, with and around operational process equipment in varying temperature zones for extended periods of time.
Able to work around asphalt and other related chemicals on an ongoing basis.

Do you want to be an Information Security Leader at GoDaddy? GoDaddy's Product Security group is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to join our organization. Can you solve large scale and cross-company issues, while ensuring that partnership with the development and operational communities remains in front of mind?

GoDaddy is looking for a Principal Security Engineer to apply their hands-on technical skills, strong leadership abilities, and an eagerness to design solutions to complex problems. You must be comfortable with communicating to stakeholders, performing security assessments and prioritizing security risks, creating/presenting high-quality deliverables.

What you'll get to do...

Identify security threats in applications and infrastructure and provide remediation mentorship to system owners.
Join forces with SRE and development teams to find new and creative ways to reduce the occurrence of vulnerabilities at scale.
Build repeatable/reusable security processes and frameworks.
Review quality issues and work towards detecting security flaws both obvious and discrete.
Assist with scoping prospective projects, participating in projects from kickoff through "definition of done" via end-to-end ownership.
Use your industry experience to own and drive resolution and retest complex security events, policy questions and technical security risks.

Your experience should include...

7+ years of progressive security engineering experience across Security Architecture, Cryptography, Network, Cloud, Mobile, and Web Security.
Skilled in Secure Development Lifecycle, Security by Design, and Shift Left methodologies.
Proficient in Threat Modeling, Architecture Review, Penetration Testing, Code Review, SAST, and DAST.
Strong scripting abilities in languages such as Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, and PowerShell.
Adept at applying security best practices for compliance, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

You might also have...

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
Hosting industry and/or cloud Experience.
Experience in hardware security.
