About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead electrical engineering delivery across utility-scale solar and battery energy storage (BESS) projects in the U.S.

This role owns electrical scope from early development through construction, commissioning, and operations. You'll act as the technical authority across multiple projects, working closely with EPC contractors, utilities, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliant, high-performing power plants.

This is a hands-on senior position suited to an experienced electrical leader who enjoys owning technical outcomes and influencing major infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all electrical engineering activities for utility-scale solar and BESS projects across development, design, construction, commissioning, and operations
• Provide technical direction and subject-matter expertise for both new projects and existing operating assets
• Partner with project management and procurement teams to support on-time and cost-effective project delivery
• Coordinate engineering efforts with EPC contractors, equipment vendors, utilities, and regulatory authorities
• Oversee engineering studies, feasibility assessments, and detailed design reviews
• Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, safety regulations, environmental standards, and internal engineering requirements
• Own MV/HV systems, substations, protection & control, and grid interconnection scope
• Support ERCOT interconnection processes and Texas grid requirements
• Monitor plant performance and recommend optimization strategies
• Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, reports, and specifications
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve plant efficiency, reliability, and sustainability
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal engineering teams and external partners

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 15+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
• At least 5+ years working on utility-scale solar projects (BESS experience strongly preferred)
• Proven experience in engineering management and technical leadership
• Strong working knowledge of: MV/HV electrical systems, Substations, Protection & Control and Grid interconnection
• In-depth understanding of U.S. electrical codes and standards (NEC, IEEE)
• Direct experience with ERCOT and Texas interconnection requirements
• Experience working with EPC contractors and field construction teams
• Strong technical documentation, design review, and approval capabilities

Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing advanced robotic simulation platforms, integrating Robotics, AI, PLC logic and manufacturing systems.

• Proven experience building simulations with 40+ robots with software-in-the-loop

• Experience designing simulation scenario language/framework to enable developers and non-developers in modeling realistic factory conditions.

• Proven experience with different physics engines including Isaac Sim, Open3DE, Gazebo, Mujoco.

• Experience architecting and deploying simulations onto multi-GPU infrastructure for automated pipelines both on-premises and cloud-based

• Proven experience integrating robots through ROS 2, Fanuc/Roboguide, or similar interfaces, with >500 ROS nodes, and >5000 ROS topics.

• Experience creating discrete-event simulations for path planning optimizations

• Experience in creating co-simulations of discrete-events with continuous physics-based simulations

• Experience simulating multiple robots and sensors in real time, with realistic LiDAR cameras and physics behavior

• Experience with 3D model development creating high fidelity maps

• Experience creating useful simulation metrics and dashboards for reviewing simulation outputs

Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities

• Own thermal design from concept through validation and transfer to manufacturing.
• Perform thermal simulations and analysis from chip level through full system architecture.
• Design and evaluate cooling solutions including heat sinks, liquid cold plates, heat pipes, airflow systems, and thermal interface materials.
• Apply airflow and fluid dynamics principles to cool high heat flux components.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Department Focused Business Analyst provides dedicated analytical, technical, and functional support to a specific business unit within a global electronic components distribution and supply chain organization. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating operational needs into scalable system solutions that support sales execution, financial accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and end to end order to cash processes. The Business Analyst partners closely with product, engineering, process optimization, and operations teams to drive system enhancements, workflow improvements, and data driven decision making across the enterprise. • Must have experience in building Pl/SQL queries for Oracle Server (incl. stored procedures, functions…) and must understand basic principles of data modeling
