About the Opportunity:
A well-established and growing manufacturing organization in the Greater Rockford area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-precision CNC machining operation within a job shop environment.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working closely with machinists, improving shop-floor processes, and optimizing production flow through strong planning, routing, and scheduling expertise.
This position offers:
- Competitive salary, starting at up to $90,000.00 (DOE) PLUS annual bonus.

Ideal Background. We are seeking candidates who bring:
- 5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (milling and/or turning)
- Experience in a job shop, precision machining, machine tool, or capital equipment environment
- Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and machining process optimization
- Experience creating routers, estimating cycle times, and supporting production scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T

Key Technical Skills You Need:
- CNC machining processes (milling and turning)
